"Restaurant Gemma used to be much better. Visited in September and booked a table by the lake to watch the fireworks. The location is excellent and can’t be faulted. It really is the best location to watch the fireworks. But the menu and quality of food doesn’t live up to what it used to be and there’s now others in Limone which are far better. Restaurant Monte Baldo is the sister restaurant and a mere one minute away. It’s the same menu, a better atmosphere and far better value for money. The cost of the menu in Gemma has increased hugely and €21 for a quarter of a sea bass is below the standard which Gemma used to reach. We know a premium is added to sit by the lake, but €21 for a quarter of a sea bass and then having to pay extra for vegetables isn’t what the Gemma of former years used to be like. Perhaps that’s why nearly half of the tables were free on firework night when they used to be full, and at least seven tables in the half nearest the lake were free at the time of the fireworks. That never used to happen. We can see Limone is changing after the pandemic, but Gemma isn’t changing for the better. New restaurants are popping up and others have moved forward. Would we return to Restaurant Gemma again? Probably not. We’ve been visiting the restaurant two or three times per year for many years, but this year others are of better quality, a better atmosphere, newer menus and far better value."

"Un entrata da favola per un posto da favola. In pochi posti ci siamo sentiti così, accolti da un cameriere disponibile, professionale a cui non manca un informale e piacevole sorriso. La proprietaria rende fiabesca ogni ricetta del talentuoso chef, raccontandola e facendoti immaginare come se la preparazione fosse in atto davanti ai tuoi occhi. La location intima dai pochi coperti rende molto tranquilla sia la cena che il pranzo, entrambi preparati con ingredienti freschi, con combinazioni e abbinamenti dai sapori unici e sempre buoni. Il servizio è ottimo, a pieno regime del ristorante può risultare a tratti lento ma una cena così va goduta siate pazienti godetevi il momento e le vostre papille gustative verranno ricompensate."

"We came across this restaurant for dinner by a recommendation by our host while in Limone Sul Garda. We enjoyed being outside of the tourist area, in a farmhouse style restaurant, that was rustic and nicely decorated. It had both outside seating in a nice garden setting, and and indoor dining. Our meal was very good, my husband had a mixed grill with steak, potatoes and vegetables. We had pasta, grilled vegetables and delicious deserts. The Creme Brule and tiramisu are a must for dessert. We would definitely return and recommend this restaurant."

"Durante il soggiorno all'omonimo hotel abbiamo prenotato una cena al ristorante sulla spiaggia. Ci hanno fatto accomodare in uno dei tre tavoli sul piccolo pontile . Atmosfera e paesaggio fantastici . Cibo squisito. Abbiamo preso impepata di cozze e cappe sante come antipasti , tagliolini del Garda e branzino , il tutto accompagnato da un paio di calici di Lugana . È stato tutto veramente buono . Promosso a pieni voti . Personale super cortese , prezzi nella media , panorama impagabile . Esperienza consigliata . Unico neo , quando cala il buio la lampada che illumina il tavolo è troppo debole , si cena praticamente senza quasi vedere ciò che c'è nel piatto . Però più illuminazione forse rovinerebbe l'atmosfera. A noi è piaciuto tantissimo"

"This little restaurant on the lake was a pleasant surprise. Very good food, from starter to main course, whether you like meat or fish, you're on the safe side! Not to mention the dessert, to conclude the dinner and the evening... excellent service, attention to the customer and smiling waitresses who were always present in the room for any request... Benna (we hope the name is right) deserves mention because she was also very friendly and kind. with our 4 year old! We recommend it and will definitely return!!! Service: 5 Location: 5"
