"Along with the questionable name (which means Happy Budda in Vietnamese), this is a hole in the wall that you wouldn 't expect to find in the heart of Chelsea. Tucked away down a few steps just off King 's Road, Phat Phuc is basically a street food stand, where you pay for your food at the counter and sit yourself down in the tent area (with heating, thank goodness). There is nothing I crave more than a steaming bowl of noodles during the winter months. Although the pho looked appetising, my sister and I both went for the Laksa with prawns, as well as fresh vegetable tofu Vietnamese rolls and duck wraps to share. Now, don 't go underestimating this unassuming noodle bar, because the food is really quite good. Nothing fancy, but very fresh, delicious and reasonably priced everything you want in a quick, weekday lunch. I could easily eat this kind of food every single day! If I lived or worked nearby, I would definitely be guilty of running to them for a convenient takeaway (which they offer). Just as I feel very at home eating out with fellow bloggers, my sister keeps me company with her shutterbug ways"

My Pho was good; a nicely balanced broth base with plenty of noodles, several slices of moist roast duck and accompanying vegetables.

The Banh Xeo, steamed pancakes with moist crispy duck, spring onion, cucumber and a thick sweet hoisin sauce was a nice starter, but it wasn't exciting, only filling.

Absolutely delicious and huge portions. I always wanted to pop in so thought today's lunch will do nicely. Reasonably priced and good quality everything tastes so fresh.

Authenticity is not what I aim for when I pick PP. I suggest sticking to the simpler dishes, dont venture into duck salad territory. It is overpriced, but the location and set up is sweet, and sometimes you just want noodles. Voir le carte

Delicious and affordable noodles with quick service make this restaurant a great choice for lunch. The laksa is seasonal and should definitely be tried. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and features both heating and an enclosed space for comfort.

every time I go through london, I have to visit this place and have a raw earlylings scooter with garnish and a shrimp Laksa noodle soup. the laksa is spicy when they are in sharp. the suppe is rich and tasty with kokosmilch, noodles, asian vegetables, garnel, etc.

...a really cool little courtyard cafe just off the Kings Road in Chelsea. Serving authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable places, this is the perfect place for lunch in the sun. We shared the steamed prawn dim sum £3.50), followed by Vegetable Pho rice noodles, tofu and shiitake mushrooms in vegetable broth £6.50) Prawn dim sum Vegetable pho Voir le carte

There aren’t many people I’d consider meeting for lunch at a quaint outdoor food stall on a dreary, chilly autumn day. It’s five degrees outside and snow is forecasted when I meet my whimsical friend, who recently moved to Great Britain after living in beautiful Bali, right by Kings Road. She’s a vibrant young woman, delightful to talk to, full of surprises, a talented photographer, and her warm personality could melt the heart of an Eskimo. So, dressed for an arctic adventure, I make my way to Phat Phuc on Sydney Street.

The vegetable Laksa was a generous portion and bursting with flavor, beautifully garnished with basil. It looked like something you'd expect in a high-end restaurant. The dumplings were my favorite—definitely the best I've had so far, but that's just my personal taste. You should give them a try; I’m confident you won’t be disappointed. While the prices aren't exactly cheap, they're quite reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. As for cleanliness, it wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t an issue for me. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
