We were great and the attention of the landlord, waitress, chef, all in one person was great. He treated us terribly and served us in a record time. the croquettes we ate simply from the best q we have tried in a long time.

Simple bar/cafe in a mountain village. Excellent quality food (plates of local cheeses, meats, salads etc) on a nice balcony. Reasonably friendly once we sat down. Not sure if they spoke any English at least they preferred my bad spanish

After wandering around the village, seeing the rural schoolhouse museum and taking a short hike through the woods, we decided to stop at Queso y Cosas to have a light lunch. Great cheese and very good tapas. Well worth the visit. Service was friendly and efficient.

Una comida riquísima, un trato espectacular. Te ayudan con la cantidad de comida que pides y así sabes que vas a comer genial y encima si te sobra algo te ofrecen el envasártelo para que puedas llevártelo. Lo recomiendo completamente si pasáis por allí no perdáis la oportunidad de ir

This is a fantastic little restaurant that serves plates of cheese and meats, a few snacks (breaded squid or chorizo and chips for example) and a range of drinks. We went twice during a stay in beautiful Mogrovejo, it was excellent value and the owner was very friendly. Fully recommend.

Buscábamos un sitio por la zona para comer y encontramos este pequeño lugar. A pesar de estar el pueblo y el local llenos, se esforzaron por buscarnos sitio y darnos de comer rápidamente con una sonrisa. Local muy bonito y bien conservado. Raciones básicas pero muy ricas. Cuando volvamos por la zona, pasaremos de nuevo por aquí.

desperately looking for a place to eat in the area we got to mogrovejo and we were lucky they gave us a table on the terrace. as already said, it is a small tasca/shop where you can satisfy hunger with various things of picoteo that although they are not sophisticated well: tomato salad, varied croquettes, Iberian table, morcilla. in short, very well both food and service

Called in for lunch on the way back to Potes from Fuente De. Located in Mogrovejo, a pretty village situated half way up the hillside from the valley floor, parking is available nearby on the edge of the village. The restaurant is double fronted and can be accessed on the ground floor from one street and the top floor on the other. We ate on the balcony off the top floor, enjoying views across the village and beyond. Simple but good food, I had a burger, my partner had a toasted sandwich. Both were exactly what we wanted and were reasonably priced.

Stumbled into this place after hiking with family when our daughter wanted to check out this quaint, pretty, and historical village. It looked cool and inviting so in we went. We were seated next to an upstairs window with a great view. Enjoyed tasty salads, cheese plate, meat plate, and papas fritas with a variety of dipping sauces including pimento. Variety of cheeses including goat, sheep and cow with tasty dipping sauce. We enjoyed everything but the tomatoes were the best. We had them in the ensalada mixta and the two tomato plates we consumed. Nothing was left on the table. Afterwards the proprietor told us that he grew his own in the village. Delicious!!!
