Fantastic food and customer service. They even sell fresh pasta to take home. While on my vacation to Nice I drove to the closest Italian city and this is the number one restaurant in town. I highly recommend! Voir le carte

After a day in Nice and Monaco we decided on a run for the border in search of the best Italian food we could find. Pasta e Basta was amazing, Very fresh pasta with a wide array of sauces. Top shelf Tiramisu also. Burrata was also excellent. Only hiccup was bread served in bags...not the best but minor infraction for a great meal. Staff was also excellent!

Pas mal. très déçu par les pâtes avec les palourdes (un grand nombre de coques vides, cassées qui le faisaient peur! . les plats ne arrivent pas tous en même temps pour chaque invité. un peu perdu dans les plats/tables. le reste des pâtes était bon. Beaucoup de serveurs différents pour une table et nous avons été oubliés pour la carte de dessert. C'est beaucoup d'appartements. dégâts

Great service and homemade pasta in huge portions. My boyfriend said it was the best pasta he's ever had in his life. We sat near an interesting 79 year old Austrian man who was dining alone, and we had an enjoyable conversation about the history of Europe. Stopped in Ventimiglia over the summer during a quick day trip to Monaco from Nice and have to write a long-overdue review for this place because it was the highlight of my visit. The strozzapreti with shrimp and lemon sauce is absolutely to die for!! I still dream about it sometimes... generous portions of fresh prawn in a light, creamy and zesty lemon sauce that makes you wanna just drink it up Creme brûlée was overcooked however; while I would recommend any of their entrees, I can't say the same for their desserts, as we tried multiple and they were mostly subpar.

Dommage, au 2e service de 13:45, nous avons attendu plus de 25 minutes pour finalement commander. Puis la serveuse nous a totalement ignorés en servant le dernier arrivé. Enfin, c'est le patron qui a pris notre commande et après 45 minutes nous avons finalement pu manger. Alors surprise, le restaurant n'avait pas de pain, jamais vu. Nous avons passé 1 h 45 pour un plat et un dessert. Une serveuse qui passe son temps à souffler, à déborder. Je lui conseille de changer sa profession. Les plats sont excellents et le rapport de valeur est très correct, quelle tristesse à manger dans une telle atmosphère.

I wasn't initially keen on visiting Ventimiglia for the day, but Pasta e Basta truly made our visit unforgettable. We arrived just 10 minutes before closing time, unaware that all the restaurants closed at 3 and reopened for dinner. After a long trek from the train station and feeling hangryyyy, the hostess graciously accommodated us and swiftly took our order. She was fantastic, offering excellent suggestions and recommending their in house pastas, which honestly exceeded all of our expectations. I'd return just to see her again. The only thing we wished we had known beforehand was the generous portion sizes, as we each ordered our own pasta dishes, but we were excited to eat leftovers late... Voir le carte
