We visited Rome for Christmas and this place was our go to for breakfast and coffee. Great service, great conversation with the owner and a must try. It's not a touristy spot which means it's great food.

Hands down the best pasta that I was able to find in Rome. Service was pretty decent. Food was tasty. I really can't complain. I was happy to finally find a tasty meal after so many bad meals! A nice small place and a nice location. A good distance from where I was staying. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great experience and fabulous pasta We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and it was just out of this world delicious and cooked to perfection. The full bodied wine recommended by the owner grazie! was the perfect way for us to start our Roman holiday! We tried other restaurants and yes we came back another 3 times during our stay!

Absolutely adore this cafe! My family and I stumbled upon this cafe in July while walking, we ordered the cheese platter, bread, a few other small plates. Everything had beautiful flavors! We also order a bellini the house white wine (which was delicious if you enjoy a dry wine, I didn't get the name of the wine, but I think about it constantly). This cafe will forever hold a wonderful memory and I recommend stopping by!

Yes !!! My hopes and dreams came true with one bite of pasta. I had high expectations for Rome. Papa's did not disappoint. We went to Emma's last night and their pasta was mediocre and quite bland. This however this was exactly what I imagined. Carbonara is my favorite pasta. I can have pasta for breakfast any day. We also got the ham and cheese sandwich. Of course being American I had a bag of Lays. The lady that works here is charming. Highly recommend if you're in the area walk on by. Americano is great not bitter and very smooth. My fiancé said the cappuccino is fire. Molto bene!

Off the beaten path. Does not have the feel of a tourist restaurant. Small restaurant where the owner Papa will come out and take orders, explain the menu and sit across the street on a curb smoking a cigar... no really this is what he does. The waitress doesn 't speak much English and the owner had to come over and explain a particular drink I had never heard of called 'Mitro '. I love this place. Cozy, friendly, not too touristy. I went there twice just to be sure it wasn 't a fluke. Super relaxed atmosphere. I had some wine, appetizers, and main course (usually a pasta dish) followed with Tartufo dessert. All delicious.
