It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Sitting on the patio on a beautiful evening was amazing, but the seafood we had that evening made it all even better. I highly recommend the scallops. They were incredible! It’s a great place to go for the evening if you’re in the La Spezia or Cinque Terre area.

We made a booking through Fork and clearly noted that we would bring our two small dogs. At arrival it was noted to us that the restaurant policy is no animals. Even though I have all the respect for any policy and I do not feel bitter about restaurants not accepting dogs, but what I feel is completely without respect is that we were not notified before. The restaurant had plenty of time after receiving and CONFIRMING the reservation to contact us and let us know. It really is not acceptable and shameful.

We chose the restaurant mainly for the view which was absolutely stunning! We were watching the sun go down and the lights go on over picturesque Portovenere while being served by competent, friendly and attentive staff. The food was partly delicious such as my lobster pasta and my husband’s raw salmon he took as a starter. But we were disappointed by the flavourless and rather dry red snapper and the chewy sea urchin in my husbands pasta. But we can definitely recommend the delicious Tiramisu and the complimentary sweets were a nice ending to an unforgettable dinner experience. Voir le carte
