We came in for lunch and we're delighted with everything. Great food, great value and great service from Kirsty.

Lovely food and friendly and helpful staff can cater for all allergy and intolerances have a fantastic tablet that's so easy to use : great value for money would definitely recommend this pub to everyone.

Our waiter her here was absolutely amazing, he couldn’t have gone done more for us! He also had a great laugh with us, cracking jokes a long with us and generally been amazing with us. I wouldn’t rate him more. Voir le carte

One of the best rib eyes I've had if not the best. Family friendly pub pitched like a beefeater but far better. Great rib eye. Well priced . Friendly service typical of North East. Staying for a short holiday nearby

My son and I stopped for lunch at this restaurant. We both ordered the lasagne and thoroughly enjoyed it. I believe the lasagne should be considered for a national award. The staff was excellent and the prices were competitive.

Great place for a casual evening, food excellent, staff very attentive and friendly. We had chicken wings with a spicy rub rub and fondue steak absolutely delicious, definitely recommend. Well done to all the team and keep the good work up Voir le carte

Wow how this place has gone down hill , we visit every year when I visit but this time the food was shocking , asked for steak cooked blue and came out medium , scampi was like a child's portion and the bread was stale , really disappointed

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Pack Horse. The steak was cooked perfectly and we were so satisfied that we didn't have room for dessert. We plan to return next time to try both. We have been coming to this restaurant for special occasions for over 20 years. The atmosphere and service are always lovely.

We called late in the day to make a reservation after reading great reviews and were fortunate to get a table at this restaurant. The staff was fantastic and pleasant, providing really good and prompt service. The highlight of the experience was the fantastic food. We ordered a medium rare steak, a mixed grill, and gammon with pineapple. All three dishes were presented beautifully on a hot skillet, sizzling hot. The meat, from the steak to the gammon, was juicy, expertly cooked, and of good quality. The grilled tomatoes were hot and juicy, just how I like them, accompanied by diced hot onions, garden peas, and the usual chips. We also ordered a side of onion rings. We were not disappointed a...
