"I must confess I am a regular at this place, but for a reason. The Rinderwirt in Sigmaringendorf (on the banks of the lovely Danube upstream of Ulm) is offering hearty and wholesome rural cuisine, based on the house's own locally-bred herd of Galloway cattle. The meals are first-rate quality, from the rather frugal Vesper (several sorts of German sausages, eaten cold on brown peasants' bread, with a side order of pickled gherkins) to the rich and sumptuos Rinderroulade (beef roll, a thin slice of prime beef wrapped around a stuffing of bacon, onion and pickled gherkin and simmered in a mid-heat for about an hour - you won't believe that beef can be as tender as this). The beer selection is limited but sufficient, wines are clearly more in the patron's vein. The restaurant is decorated in the style of a traditional barn, with disused cow-bells finding a new occupation as lampshades. Much unworked wood, which agrees well with my taste. Service is fast and very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. So, Beim Rinderwirt comes recommended without any reservations."

"really the best tinker in the environment. it is huge, tastes very delicious and costs as much as everywhere. the last is quite large and very clean. there is a small outside area. the toilets are always kept clean and the staff is very friendly. who goes without eating is himself guilty!"

"The house on the lake is really located right by the lake, you can park in front of it and have a great view over the lake depending on the seat! The large sun windows invite you to stay. The staff is nice, courteous and attentive. When eating, the portions are sufficient and really delicious! Who comes over here should come in here. You can also walk comfortably a round which the lake is also nice to run."

"Wir waren positiv überrascht! Wir sind mit niedrigen Erwartungen hingegangen (ist ja nur ein Strandbad) und waren mehr als zufrieden. Die Lage am See ist wirklich sehr schön! An heißen Tagen ist für großzügige Beschattung gesorgt auf der Terrasse. Mein Mann hatte einen Burger der wirklich ordentlich war. Das Fleisch war lecker, viel Käse und frische Beläge (Rucola, Tomate, Gurke). Lediglich das Burger Brötchen war etwas trocken. Ich hatte eine Fleisch/Gemüse Pfanne mit Spätzle. Das Gemüse war super frisch und knackig das fand ich richtig klasse! Auch das Fleisch war lecker. Die Soße erschien mir selbst gemacht und hat richtig gut geschmeckt (fast ein bisschen fruchtig). Lediglich die Spätzle waren nicht selber gemacht und hätten besser sein können. Bei einem Strandbad kann ich gekaufte Spätzle und ein trockenes Burgerbrötchen gut verzeihen. Vielleicht wird ja hier sogar noch nachgebessert . Die Preise waren für das leckere Essen und die schöne Lage absolut fair. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!"

"La nourriture était délicieuse, le personnel était très, très sympathique. Vous pouvez dire qu'ils y ont mis leur cœur et leur âme. Les locaux sont géniaux. Surtout l'ancienne étable convertie, le jardin d'hiver ou la terrasse, merveilleux pour profiter d'un repas de première classe. Nous serions heureux de revenir"
