"We met up with some family members for Saturday lunch, Deddington is halfway between us. We ate at this restaurant once before and thought we’d go again. It’s a lovely restaurant with friendly service. Although the menu isn’t extensive the choices are good even for someone like me who doesn’t eat red meat. The price is excellent value for money, and the food was very well presented and very tasty. We will definitely return. Highly recommended."

Despite being a party of 10 the food was all cooked freshly and served together whether starters or main course. Although quiet at lunchtime we were welcomed warmly and the food and wine were very fairly priced for such good quality.

It was a Thursday evening and I was staying in Deddington, Oxfordshire, and due to play golf the following day. Some good friends of mine live close by and we arranged to meet for supper. I chose Otters as it was adjacent to the hotel I was staying in. It is a small establishment and has been going for at least 15 years under the current owner, so that speaks volumes about a restaurant.
