"We hadn't booked here but on an unseasonably cold wet Sunday evening it was the closest restaurant to our hotel. We were welcomed warmly and the meal and the service were good. The food is traditional Bavarian/Austrian, so substantial in content and portion sizes. The...venison casserole was excellent and there is a good selection of beers and wines. It is next to the English Garden, a huge park which starts in the centre of Munich and stretches for (nearly miles). Good value though the prices looked high when I researched it at home, in the context of German prices they aren't bad!"

A really nice and cozy spot right spot on by the entrance of the English garden. Food is great and very friendly staff. Ask to be seated outside as it's now...

This little garden restaurant is nestled right against the English Gardens. It is a nice place to get a drink and a bite after walking through the gardens. A hedge surrounds the dining area, giving it a cosy feel. They have English menus, and the...wait staff are friendly. The pretzels on the table are fresh, and the main dishes are typical. They warn you that it takes awhile for them to prepare the warm food, so settle in with a beer and enjoy a well deserved break.

"I often feel like visiting a Greek restaurant as a short trip to Greece. Pleasant holiday memories come high and winter before the door is quickly forgotten. If you travel with the S-2 from Munich towards Erding, you will find the glimpse of this Greek restaurant at Feldkirchen's tributary station. Large chestnuts with a typical beer garden, a beautifully renovated house. One hopes for a good meal at perhaps cheaper prices than in Munich. The restaurant was well visited when I entered. The guest room consists of two interconnected rooms. The decoration is Greek-altbacken. The tables and chairs are very close to each other. The greeting was very friendly, we were immediately shown a place. An ouzo was also brought together with the menu. The menu did not show any special features, but that was not expected. The number of dishes beats, the variation of the individual dishes is often low. That's relative. I had grilled Gyros with baby calamaris, with rice, Zaziki (remembered to a finished product) and salad. The Gyros was good, the Kalamaris – well and he rest really was not worth a review. The restaurant is recommended, otherwise I would go for a different location for dinner. The beer garden seems worth a trip in summer. The old chestnuts are also very worth seeing without leaves. Other: The toilets are clean but not clean. Rich parking available. S-Bahn at a distance of 30 m."
