"What's not to love about Oca? We have a house a short walk from the restaurant and it is one of our favorite restaurants in the world). Great food for example, the veal with tartufo is fabulous they cover it with truffles with abandon, no paying for it by the gram here). Tagliata con arugula/pomodorini excellent. Great pastas and big cocktails you could swim in their negroni) Comfortable nice relaxed rooms with good art adorning the walls reminds us if Raoul's in NY) And speaking of Raoul's, Oca has the same professionalism and flair albeit and Italian one this from someone who has been dining Raoul's since the early 80's). Great service delivered with warmth particularly if you are regular). A must when in Pontremoli."

We were able to book a table the day before. Great food presentation. House wine was good. Efficient service and good value. 75 euros for 2 including wine, 3 courses each and tax. Great overall experience and we shall Be back ! Grazie.

The booking was made by someone else in our party and the restaurant was buzzing and professional in appearance. The food, alas, was average; no dish was outstandingly good, nor outstandingly bad. In a town noted for general culinary excellence, the kitchen’s efforts failed to rise above the ordinary. My main course of veal seemed to have been grilled with a mushroom sauce added later. Ok, but not great. Price, Service, food; all average. The wine, a Blauburgunder from Friuli, was excellent.

Siamo capitati per caso in questo locale una domenica sera. Accolti con gentilezza leggermente ruvida dal titolare che ci ha accontentato e consigliato nelle scelte di piatti tipici della Lunigiana. Abbiamo mangiato come antipasto quello tipico Lunigiano (salumi , fiori di zucca e torta di verdura e come piatto principale i testaroli al pesto e tagliata di carne. Tutto molto buono e genuino. Vino della casa e’ un piacevole san felice. Plauso quindi al ristoratore che sa il fatto suo e ci tiene molto ad offrire alla clientela prodotti autentici e di ottima qualità. Molto consigliato
