Freundliche Bedienung, sehr leckere hausgemachte Ravioli, Seesicht. Was will man mehr?

Ein wunderbares Lokal. Leider sehr klein, aber super Gerichte. Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren.

Wir kamen auf einer Biketour beim La Riva vorbei und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Lage draussen auf dem Spazierweg mit Blick auf den Lago Maggiore ist super, da stören auch die Spaziergänger und Velofahrer nicht. Das Essen ist super und die Bedienung freundlich. Diese Osteria ist ein Gegenpart zu den grossen Restaurants in der Umgebung.

This is another eatery that is just a block from my home, and a friend visiting from the USA was here recently, and rather than heat up the kitchen cooking, we went to Osteria La Riva. We both had pasta dishes that were delicious, but next time I'll have a salad and split the entrée because the portions were generous, far more than either of us could eat.

Lunch nearly directly on the lake shore under the shady trees. Delicious, authentic cuisine and friendly service by the owner and her nice helper. Was happy not to be welcomed in German ! as is customary in Ticino and see customers were mainly locals. We had fresh perch from the lake with delicious vegetables. We loved our meal! ! You have to park a few meters away and walk as it is on Riva Piana, a gorgeous shady lakeside walk, but spoilt by loads of cyclists zooming along supposedly at walking pace...

We were guests at the Osteria at the beginning of March 2022 and felt very comfortable. Above all, the boss, Daniela, lives and breathes hospitality. Not only the good cuisine, but also the large, beautiful room is highly recommended. Went here again for lunch on May 20th. Beautiful garden restaurant right on the lake and the service, food and hospitality are very good. Yesterday for dinner again at Osteria la Riva. My wife's homemade lasagna and my entrecote with vegetables and fries were exactly as requested. Weisy set tables and very attentive and friendly service as always. Thank you
