"What can one say about perfection? Last visited seven years ago when the restaurant was closed but we were welcomed in and served the meal that was cooked for a family function. Booked this time remembered by the brothers, probably a bit off the beaten tract for English speaking tourists. We ordered from the menu but I am sure we were given much more, just left ourselves in the chef's hands. We had several appetizers the chef divided full meals between three. They use balsamic, famous in this area to its greatest advantage.The battered baccala, light as a feather, zucchini flowers tasty, an egg plant slice, just yum, artichoke tart, full of flavor. Tortellini finished with crisped prosciutto,a lovely contrast, the last course was pork cooked in balsamico, a dish which belongs in heaven, melt in the mouth with the sweet slight sour flavor of the vinegar, but glad I tasted it on this earth. The kitchen is quietly run by the chef with a helping hand of his front of house brother. I have eaten some great meals around the world but this chef comes up tops."

I was here with a friend for lunch. We had the Antipasti for two which were really excellent. The vine card is well equipped, try the Lambrusco from Villa di Corlo.

Molto accogliente, carino il posto. Abbiamo mangiato la grigliata di carne (nel menu si chiama diversamente) con verdure e patate. Veramente buona! E il dolce semifreddo al torrone Potremo tornarci!

Location molto bella e caratteristica...il cibo buonissimo. Antipasto con frittelle di baccalà fritte alla perfezione, e carpaccio di tonno affumicato servito con pepe rosa, un filo di olio sardo dal sapore unico e peperoncini ripieni di tonno. Poi spiedone di carne mista e verdure alla brace, davvero molto gustosi: ogni tipo di carne e verdura con la sua cottura perfetta, tenera e saporita. Il tutto accompagnato da una caraffa di cannonau della casa, per me eccellente. Tornerò per provare anche le altre proposte del menù, perché sono stata veramente soddisfatta.

Close to the beautiful city center of Spilamberto you will find this beautiful osteria near Rocca Rangoni. It a restaurant with very friendly personnel and a nice Italian atmosphere. There are many dishes to choose from the menu. As my family in law wanted to eat something different than pasta we had frittelle di baccalà and grilled meat and vegetables. I can describe the food in one word: delicious! You can choose from a rich collection of Italian wines. We preferred to drink a wine from this region, pignoletto. We will certainly visit this restaurant again soon.
