"The food was disappointing; it honestly tasted like canned food, even though they present themselves as a nice restaurant. As for their vegan options, they only deduct about £1 for removing meat, without offering any substitutes like tofu. Essentially, you end up with some basic vegetables in sauce served with Uncle Ben's rice for £10. That said, it turned out to be a fun experience — my girlfriend and I laughed all night at the quirky kitchen and restaurant decor. We'll remember this memorable restaurant forever! Just kidding about going back for a second chance. Emma, if you're reading this, I love you, and thank you for making our restaurant outings enjoyable!"

Options of soup and noodles. Vegan alternatives and ingredients can be removed. You can choose tofu for chicken or meat.

Even if you order something with Veg or Tofu, you need to determine that you want to be vegan (so you don't get an egg). Eating is good and you get a decent part.

I enjoyed the Massaman Curry, and it was absolutely delicious. When you place your order, be sure to specify that you'd like it vegan or vegetarian, and they will prepare it accordingly.

The menu states that all options can be made vegan upon request, but after ordering various dishes for five people, only one dish could be prepared that way. The rest contained oyster sauce. I left feeling very disappointed.

This restaurant we stumbled on by chance and it was goods anything they have can be made vegan and is stated at the bottom of the menu. It is served family style so make sure you ask for extra plates. Wouldn’t mind eating here again.

I had a fantastic experience at Noodle 'n' Rice. It's centrally located right on the Royal Mile, making it a convenient spot! We ended up going back twice during our visit to Edinburgh. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and everything is offered at a reasonable price. The staff is also very nice and super friendly! I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this place—10/10! I visited on Christmas Day and, since it was a holiday, I made a reservation. I arrived an hour later and was seated right away. The staff was very friendly and didn't rush me, which I appreciated as a solo traveler looking for a hearty meal. I ordered the green curry, which was excellent, and the papaya salad, which was also very tasty. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return!

Overpriced and flavoured. Sad, this is not Thai food. Portion sizes are large enough, but they are not delicious to the point you want to finish your meal. Among the fresher pieces of veg and salad are hidden wild leaves and foamy carrots. The hosts were quick to try to move you from your table when new people came and it took three attempts to find something on the menu that was available. The worst part was that my partner was sick all night after he had eaten there. I would NOT recommend going there and encouraging others to clearly control.

I visited the restaurant late last night and was pleased to find it still open. The server was professional and friendly. The chicken wings were tasty, but for £6, there were only five small pieces, which didn't seem worth it. While the sauce was delicious, the addition of green peppers felt excessive. I also ordered Pad Thai with chicken, which was decent, but again, there were too many bell peppers. On the plus side, the portion size was generous. The location is right on the Royal Mile, which is convenient. Overall, it was a decent experience.

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
