recently immersed and took a bean burrito and mango smoothie. amazing! I am lactose intolerant so that a bean burrito with the cheese taken out and still taste so good! could not ask for more! also the customer service was excellent. hope is an excellent one. chef

Lovely wee cafe with a small menu but good service and really well-prepared fresh, food. And so importantly: no single-use plastic. Friendly staff owners who clearly have a conscience and want to do their bit. I can recommend the bean burrito and the chocolate...flapjack.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast during an early morning cycle along the Tweed valley. My ‘fully loaded’ porridge was excellent and my husband is still waxing lyrical about the equivalent omelette. Friendly service and useful advice about how to maximise iron absorption...from spinach added to a great experience. We shall return to sample more of what sounds like a delicious range of dishes.

Excellent coffee, gorgeous cakes fabulous food, what's not to like? After finishing our MTB rides we stopped her for coffee and cake, we were that impressed we popped back to grab some wraps before our long journey home. The coffee was excellent, the cake...was gorgeous and we were blown away by the amazing halloumi wraps. Without doubt next time we visit Innerleithen we'll be spending more time at this great cafe.

The 3 people behind the counter were more interested in completing a quiz than serving us. Ultimately, the service was poor and lacked any niceties. This is the only cafe I have been in where once we ordered 2 scones with butter and jam that...they cut the scones and spread the butter and jam themselves ! The butter and jam was almost non existent and I had to ask for more jam as it was like water it was so thin and tasteless. The scones were also tasteless. On a positive note the coffee was enjoyable. Overall it was not a good customer experience.

this is one must travel on their own, whether they are a local or a visitor are all welcome. from the minute they enter, they are greeted with a warm hallo from the kitchen. the atmosphere is cozy, especially when the fire is illuminated. they. can feel that the excitement of the drivers ready for their great journey, the dogs walker who all know, or the friends who catch up for coffee. eating is absolutely amazing, best celestial wig that I have ever had with strokes of butter and jam. thanks to craig and anna and the rest of the amazing staff. special thanks to the birthday candle, song and yummy scone. good. lynette (sydney australia)

Called in as I read the positive reviews on here. Ordered omelette with spinach, cheese and onion. Wife ordered toast as they were unable to offer egg on toast. It all arrives on the same cardboard tray for some reason. The omelette looked nice but...was burnt inside, it had been folded inwards so it looked fine on the outside. This has left me with a burnt taste still now a while later. No one asked if everything was okay with our meal and staff were not approachable. They were chatty with the locals though No condiments offered, perhaps they were hiding somewhere for self service? Coffee was delicious but small. Beyond the disappointing food everything is served in disposable cups and tray...
