Food was amazing. Very polite staff. Received our food very quickly. Got cute origami figures with our cheque.

This was a Yelp recommendation and I tried to visit once without a reservationIt was full and I had to come back another night.

Great sushi. Fantastic quality fish. Friendly staff. Make sure you book a table. Katsu curry is a good large portion. Highly recommended.

I love this restaurant because eating is so authentic and comforting! I live 7 years in japan and can say that it is the closest to eating mums or Japanese “home cooked” style. the tempo, karaage and sushi are all fantastic. highly recommended.

It's easy to overlook this little Charminster restaurant, but it is such a gem, with a dedicated and hands-on manager. Although we've not been to Japan, we can say that Nippon Inn has a really homely feel, and the cuisine feels authentic, flavourful and really fresh compared to the Japanese chain restaurants out there. Make sure to book if you'd like to get a spot at one of their two tatami mat tables in the window!

super! From the outside the restaurant looked cozy and picturesque. the limited seating area made it quite exclusive, with options of bar, tables and zashiki (traditional low-table seating). there was a nice atmosphere. all guests, including us, enjoy the place. the staff was very friendly and cheerful. we had ordered small dishes from the meat menu and net. they were all delicious. can also not go wrong with asahi on hahn! we thank the restaurant for such a beautiful experience. we would recommend this facility for anyone who loves Japanese food or wants to try something new!
