Fabulous restaurant with home cooked food. It is small and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We ate there twice during a week stay in the area. You will need to book. Thank you for your hospitality Justin and Julia and like we said if you move to Worcestershire let us know :

An absolute gem! The food was fantastic; the King's doll and muddles were fresh and incredibly delicious. My husband's fasan was also exquisite. This place is an absolute gem! We visit every year when we come to Devon for our holiday. The food is outstanding—without a doubt the best pub food I've ever had. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, and the service is exceptional. The portions are also quite generous. If you're in North Devon, you absolutely have to eat here!

The New Inn is our top choice for dining in the Barnstaple area. The food is outstanding, expertly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Justin and Julia are wonderful hosts, ensuring that customers feel both welcomed and thoroughly cared for.
