Nepal Haus is a cosy restaurant on a busy street in Kreuzberg. Although there is a lot of competition for good food in this area, I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys delicious Nepalese food (or anyone wanting to try it It was quiet...when we were there but this did not detract from the pleasant, informal atmosphere.

Have been to this place twice and been pleasantly surprised. This place is an underrated jewel in the Indian food circuit. The first time when I went there, I tried Thali (a platter), which comes with daal, rice, curry, and few other things.. small helpings but quite good and authentic. The second time me and my friend ordered Matar Paneer and another Chicken preparation.. quite good again but the sauce was exactly the same in both.. Don't be confused by the name and description of the restaurant. The cook is from Nepal and the owner from South India. However, most of the items on the menu are actually North Indian preparations. Last night I was out with a bunch of acquaintances and rain just decided to ruin the evening, so wet and hungry we were looking for alternatives and little you know one of the girls just passed by and between this place and the one...next to it that was a classical doner restaurant she pickled this one, manager/owner so friendly and ready for a quick joke in between serving us, food was excellent and we felt much better afterwards.. Make sure to stop by here and have a meal, you won't regret it!! This could be like the beginning of your evening and you want something to eat that doesn't make you feel bloated or after been in the park before returning home as to avoid having cooking and helpi...
