"I 've rated this as Mid range in terms of price, but only because your bill will creep into double figures. For £10.50 you get a fabulous pie, mash, gravy and side dish. I had the Blue Moo (steak and stilton) topped with crispy shallots, and it was perfect. This was a work lunch, with people of 5 different nationalities UK, USA, India, Spain and Thailand and we were all agreed this was a great choice of destination."

Nice selection of beers, quite small inside and not many seats. But space to stand outside which is nice in the sun,

Great to come here with friends and have a few drinks. Very vibrant part of town with an excellent pie and mash shop upstairs

A nice little British pub, with a chilled vibe, good music! Serving cold beer for a good price and a range of award winning pies!

We came here for pies and stayed because the staff was so great, enjoyed several pints and a few shots. Josh was very friendly and knowledge of the menu. Voir le carte

A quiet Sunday night turned into a really enjoyable evening in this traditional London pub. Diverse range of customers- all you would want for a typical London evening.

This was our local when we stayed in Soho. What a great pub for vegetarian pies and a pint. Right across the street from the Soho Theatre, it is perfect for a pre-show drink or dinner. A lively meeting place on the weekend with a good crowd.

Great pub, I've been going to this pub for over 15 years. Last night the footpath police were rude, aggressive and at one point stopped me going into the pub for a round of drinks. No doubt their job is a difficult one, but start the conversation with politeness and cut the aggression towards your customers, simply not wanted. Voir le carte

Definitely one of the fixtures in the changing world of Soho. This a typical noisy, crowded Soho pub, particularly packed on this occasion which was the night before St Patrick's Day and also before the big Six Nations rugby union clash between England and Ireland. Good selection of beers. Been here many times before and will be again in the future.

Did not go in the evening although I would expect the place to be packed with Londoners drinking beer. Instead went for a late lunch, ordered two pies: chicken and mushroom and beef and ale pie. Both served with gravy and a choice of side dish. We tried mash potatoes and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious, a typical pub meal. Good selection of beers.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
