Lovely friendly bar man. We had fish and chips and oj with lemanade to go with. Aside from the Fish (a little greasy) and chips it was a lovely lunch. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

Excellent food in a bar/grill with a wide selection of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails making for a great atmosphere, albeit a little noisy and service is slightly slow. The cherry on top is that they're dog friendly.

Visted with my husband on his birthday on a visit to Scotland ,trendy place go , good selection of beers. Had IPA battered haddock and I can't remember the last time I've had fish and chips as good as that , it's well worth a visit one not to be missed. Popped in for a quick bite at dinner time. Had a lovely meal, the New York Deli bun was delicious, the brisket so well cooked. Swapped out standard chips for the truffle fries and did not regret it, they were so tasty. It's great that I can bring my dog in too, he was given his own water bowl. The food was remarkable, earning a perfect rating of 5 stars for its taste and presentation. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made our evening enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, creating the perfect backdrop for a delightful meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!

One of our friends ordered the bread basket, which turned out to be massive—more of a dish for sharing. I helped with that, and while the bread was satisfactory, the pesto was overflowing and lacked flavor. We also tried the truffle chips, which were a generous portion, especially compared to my relatively small serving of Halloumi fries. The chips tasted fine. The mac and cheese bites were also on the table and seemed to be well-received. You have to place your order at the bar, where the man taking orders (the one with the mustache) was rather unfriendly—he didn't seem to smile at all.
