Tucked away in a side street in a Georgian building is this little cafe which offers meals and afternoon teas. Excellent service and food.

we love this little tea shop/café, always a friendly reception. eating is good old-fashioned café evening. delicate prices and the owner is beautiful.

Popped in for breakfast and had a lovely tasty meal and great coffee. The service was fab too very friendly and efficient. Wishing you well as the cafe is under new management.

that was the best place to breakfast, but now it has changed the hands, it is terrible. unfriendly personal, gummy eggs and sausages. mushrooms were soggy. did not go back. don't go back.

between us we had two creamtees and a cheese sandwich, with tees and a soft drink. beautiful caffe, all nicely lined with Christmas decorations including festive tablecloths. the last two employees were both very nice and friendly. a really nice...experience thanks.

Popped into Muffins Coffeehouse today for lunch. Had the most wonderful afternoon tea. Homemade scones, epic homemade lemon cake and Victoria sponge. The team are so friendly and great with the kids. If you’re looking for a family friendly, welcoming place to eat I would...highly recommend.

my mother and I have immersed in this beautiful little caffe for breakfast. we both had a complete breakfast with cappuccino. it was cooked to perfection. not fat. really delicious and well presented. the lady who served us was a nice service. was more excellent. Thank you. muffins we will return

We went here after seeing TA. I’m sometimes shocked by TA and how wrong it can be. All 3 of us where disappointed as the food is really basic and little effort. If you want tea and a scone, fine. But basic food was very...average and I think it’s a 2 or 3 overall is right. I calculated what we had tonight and think I was overcharged too. I would not recommend eating here.

We had had a blustery walk on the seafront and wandered into town in search of a coffee, came across Muffins, and were soon sitting down with hot coffees to warm us up. The coffee and walnut cake that we shared was also amazing. It...is lovely to visit independent privately owned coffee shops instead of the big conglomerates. Well done Muffins, and keep up the good work. By the time we left, the place was filling up for lunch, so obviously very popular.
