"This used to be our favorite café, but after the refurbishment, it lost all its charm. The friendly familiar staff have been replaced with robotic new staff. The cappuccino now comes with half a cup of froth unless you request otherwise. The scones have always been of poor quality and do not seem homemade. Despite this, the café remains busy, likely due to its prime location in Tynemouth. We are currently searching for an alternative café, but it's proving to be a challenge!"

The staff is very friendly, and they offer a great variety of snacks and delicious coffee. Definitely worth a stop during a shopping trip.

Really love it here the coffees and the milkshakes are so good and there cakes and ice cream is good too,really recommend it here and the people who work there are really nice.

Went here to have a drink with a friend in the morning. The atmosphere was odd to say the least; nightclub music playing, extremely hot and dark . The windows were steaming up which is a concern given the need for ventilation during a pandemic. Had been an old favourite!

This place always feels the most basic of the Mr Woods chain. Having said that the standards of the food and cleanliness are just as high. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Always good for a quick bite or a chat with friends. Excellent value for money. Grab a seat when you can !

Superb, apart from the little 'chair monitor ' who made people feel uncomfortable by moving them tables after they were settled. Wouldnt mind but tables people were moved from remained free. Just something stupid that spoilt the experience. Ps, we werent the only people this happened too

Whenever I visit this restaurant, I always receive excellent service and a friendly welcome. The prices are much cheaper than the nearby Costa, and the coffee is far superior. The flavor of the beans they use is absolutely delicious and rich. I cannot find any faults with this place - it will always be my top choice for coffee!

We've called here several times on on our visits to the area, we have never been disappointed, the staff are always friendly and the service good. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and a warm mince pie this time, just the thing after a walk on a cold November morning. We will visit again on our next trip to this lovely part of the coast.

Went for a coffee and slice of cake. Waitress advised do not take cards for less than a fiver. This is a cafe! I do not intend spending more than a fiver in this type of place. It is 2015 after all. I left without the coffee as had no cash and I went to a cheaper cafe round the corner who accepted my card. I will not return to Mr Woods.
