Friendly staff excellent, authentic food, though it is more expensive. The best Chinese in Stratford.

yummy dim sum, with 3 good graded for sharing four was just the right amount. good service, fast kitchen, suitable american looking for a change from pub grub!

After debating whether or not to go for a meal because of the conflicting reviews, we decided to take a chance and we were not disappointed. The service was quick and the food was delicious. We had a great time and would definitely recommend a visit!

The restaurant was very busy, so we had to book in advance. The menu was extensive, and we decided to order a banquet. The food was tasty, especially the duck and pancakes and the beef dish. However, the noodles were very spicy and the chicken was too sticky. Overall, it was a good meal rather than a very good one.

Best Chinese in stratford. normally we have taken it out; I can recommend the d' for two. it is expensive compared to other take-outs, but it is not swimming in fat, the portions are very generous and it is a really nice mix of things. woman president chan is really friendly; herr chan is not so much, but don't let her put it out

Ever since Mr. Chan sold the restaurant a few years ago, the standards have noticeably declined. The food is still delicious, reasonably priced, and made with fresh ingredients. However, some of the staff now wear track pants and unkempt sneakers, and the outdated decor could use a complete overhaul. I would recommend only ordering takeout until improvements are made.

2011 update, went again Saturday 15th January. Food, had set menu c for 4 people outstanding. Added dimsum to it also excellent. Still a little dearer than some others around Stratford but worth it. To be picky service was a little slow but bearable not one to use if you are in a rush for theatre 01 Jun, 2009 Take away food excellent.... really bad takeaway on 10th april 2013. we have ordered our meal, we live in wavy bourne to pick it up, but we haven't been in chans for ever. I picked up the food, drove home, opened the bag and there was someone else order when we called it, they tried to blame us, not to check! we asked if there would be a refund and they said that no refund would be given as we get the oppertunity to enjoy someone else dinner! the wange of it. we were asked to drive back to collect our order. when we finally set ourselves to eat the food, less they forget impressive bbq spare ribs that there are no meat on them and the bark is very fat!

terrible customer service. during the recomendation I took my wife and another couple in this restaurant and sat near the window (the sill had recently been painted, but the owner checked to make sure it was dry before he sat down.) it was very quiet and eating was good and they have very good our vegetarian needs. we had a tearing night until we came to go and realize that my shirt cover was covered with color from the windowboard. at complaining, the owner explained that he told me that it was sill wet and it was my fault and I should have been sitting somewhere else. now, considering that he checked the sill (and said it was dry and sat on this table without an option that I was disappoin...
