Mio Bistro Caffè Gelato

A pleasant atmosphere overlooking the water. The burgers were great, but the desserts were amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful also.

Stopped here for early evening aperitifs. Seated quickly and service was fast. Nice view over lake. The Prosecco with soda/mint was very refreshing and enjoyable.

The burger tasted of sawdust. The pizza was 120% grease. The view was decent but the price of the food was WAY too high and not justified. The quality of the food was simply poor. Voir le carte

Not a huge selection of cakes, although lots of savoury options. I stopped mid afternoon needing something sweet after lots of walking. Opted for tiramisu and coffee. Nice but very cream heavy. Lovely location and view.

Very nice location, located directly on the Alster. Very well visited, so a little longer service hours, but the staff is very strenuous and always polite. Well sorted map. Smoothies cake and ice cream creations very, tasty, but sweet dressed. All right. Voir le carte

We went here for drinks in the afternoon. The drinks were ok, but the service was quite rude. The bill was € 8,10, and the waiter simply took the € 10 bill, and walked away without a word, assuming we would give a € 2 tip for bad service. An absolute tourist trap!

Lovely setting next to the lake. Very friendly staff, child friendly too so the kids enjoyed trying to talk German with the waiters. Food is really good, and the gelato is to die for. I was only let down by the gin tonic which sent me back to the nineties; this was a missed opportunity to put a better one on the menu. But that was really a minor issue. We hade a great eveninh and would definitely recommend.

This place has a nice location, but when it comes to service and quality it is simply not worth it. When we first came all waiters avoided eye contact, and in the end we just decided to grab a table and hope for the best. Then they messed up our orders (2 beers and the waiters had a long, German, discussion right in front of us instead of just asking us what we ordered. Finally we ordered food... We got a pizza and a plate with antipasti. The pizza was not cooked through and the antipasti didn't include what the menu said (when did boiled beetroot become an antipasti? . We told the waiter that there was something missing in the antipasti, he agreed but it never came. So overall, we are not c... Voir le carte
