Ming - Carte

Probably the best Chinese food we 've eaten BUT we arrived at 6.15 and asked if they had a table. The head waiter replied abruptly that they did but you got to be out of here by 7.30 . You only needed to say you were fully booked rather than rush us through our meal.

We hadn’t visited this restaurant for over 15 years. It was one of our favourite places and our regular go to. we were sceptical at first and was wondering whether it was still as good. The answer is yes, it’s still as nice, the service and food are both excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Awful Chinese takeaway and so disappointed. Hubby drove and collected takeaway. We had a meal here when we first met and it was lovely but expensive. Decided to have a takeaway last weekend and the food was vile. It went in the bin. £50 plus and no food. No email address to contact them. Really disgusted and will not return. Voir le carte

We enjoyed a great family meal here at Ming, Borough Green. The six of us had a delicious set meal which was served promptly by friendly staff. The restaurant has its own small car park (unlike the Ming at Welling) which although nearly empty when we arrived at 17.30, was quite crowded when we left at about 19.00. We found it a lovely place with tasty food.

The last time I came here was 30 years ago! We usually use the nearer one to us (West Malling) but needed one closer to our friends as a halfway point and the Premier Inn is next door. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Its decor takes you back in time and reminds you of how Chinese restaurants used to be it is lovely and traditional. Highly recommend.

Restaurant packed, took nearly 40 min to get a beer and that was after a prompt! Food took over an hour for starters but was ok. Main meal warm to cold, you could tell it had been left on the side (Curry had a skin on it and was cold) Not enough staff, they have little or no manners at all…. To be honest, diabolical and it cost nearly £300!!!! The dig in the ribs was we had to pay £25 service charge, laughable….. could of served it better drunk! Never again. Voir le carte

Some of the views I read of Ming were very strange and wide of the mark of my previous experiences. It is a ‘quirky’ strange Chinese restaurant stuck in a time warp. However, this adds to its authentic charm. Seven of us ate on a large round table with a ‘lazy Susan’. The food in it’s entirety was quite simply superb. Delicious delicious delicious. Served sympathetically quickly and efficiently. Very impressed with our lady waitress’s knowledge of my granddaughter’s wheat allergy. Thank you Ming for a lovely meal.

Hadn't visited this restaurant for a number of years. Both the Chinese restaurants within closer distance have to us have shut. Small car park at rear already full when we arrived but there is off-road parking a short walk away. We were seated immediately, drinks and food orders taken very quickly. We had crispy duck starters then a selection of mains. You do need to order a portion of rice per person. All dishes arrived hot and were really tasty. Too full for any desserts. Overall a good evening and we would return.

Met with my famous five friends for our Christmas meal. Started off well, service and food good. Just after 10pm the staff began hovering, when I asked why they advised they closed at 10pm. As I hadn't booked the meal I was unaware of the early closing time. We could not contact our partners to collect us earlier, due to the bad phone reception in the area. The staff ruined our evening with their constant coming to the table to remove plates etc and at one time they even removed the top tablecloth whilst we were still dining. We would never return to this restaurant due to being made to feel that we had over stayed our welcome. Voir le carte
