"Myself and my partner ordered the burger and monkfish. The monkfish dish was borderline inedible! The monkfish was like a piece of unseasoned, boiled fish that was slapped on top of the most soggy risotto. The risotto was over cooked to the point there was...liquid sitting at the bottom. The beef burger was genuinely one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I feel so rude writing that but it genuinely was not good. There was no seasoning, it was completely bland and the bacon was pretty much raw. It seemed that there had been no care whatsoever put into either meal. Reviews on here seem fairly positive which we were fooled by. The restaurant itself is nice inside and very Instagram-able but we left bitterly disappointed with the terrible standard of food served paid near enough £50 to go to McDonald’s straight after!! That’s when you know it’s bad. Furthermore, we emailed the manager to let him know and received absolutely no communication back. Incredibly poor and unprofessional."

"Our first visit here. We parked opposite Tesco, near M&S, for £2.50 for 3 hours. There's also an electric vehicle charging station there too. A couple of minutes walk to Bijou, upstairs for lunch, with our friends. Quick, welcoming, smiley, capable staff took our orders, which arrived quickly (considering that it was packed). Surroundings immaculate, as were the toilets. My panini light lunch was lovely. A fine ambience. Downstairs there's a lovely shop to look around afterwards."

"The venue is cute and eclectic, very charming, if a bit small. Service was outstanding, very friendly, knocked off a few quid because I had to wait a short while for my Pakora Burger but the wait didn't really feel very long to me. The food was very good, fresh hot and delicious. The pepperoni pizza is delicious and actually spicy and piquant. The pakora burger is delicious, a touch heavy but fresh and crispy with a sharp sweet mango sauce to cut through it. The on tap kombucha was delicious and refreshing, tasted very natural with good flavours of ginger, and mint, tasted like the advertised flavour with no hint of anything artificial. Would highly recommend this cafe to anyone, but at the moment you should call ahead due to the virus times. Also the door-dog is very attentive to his duties!"

"Everything about the hotel was amazing. All the staff were so polite! Food was unbelievably delicious chilli and lime salmon was my favourite out of the 4 nights I stayed and very quick service. Breakfast was lovely as well. Pre-order forms that they have are much better as you can avoid food wastage and if you want anything extra you can always ask The room itself was very cosy and as I was only in Elgin for work, the size of room was perfect for myself. Shower pressure was just spot on and the bed was excellent better than my new one from Dreams . Would be more than happy to come back if I was ever going to Elgin again! Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Delicious food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Smoothies are sublime and freshly made to order, as are all food orders. Most importantly, there's vegan cake! Not the roomiest of places inside, but there's a table outside for the more hardy customers. Takeaway is probably the best option for wheelchair users as the indoor are raised and there's little room for a wheelchair. The food's worth the effort though!"
