"This is a well done Pub...but its all some Corporate Interior Designers Dream. Not real functional seating. While we enjoyed the beers the atmosphere was lacking. It was very nice the day we were there and the outdoor area was open ,but loaded with smokers...so...we left for something more smoke free."

I am thrilled by chili con carne, it was sharp, tasty, beautifully dressed and simply a dream. the price is correct (chf 18.50). I can recommend!

I am so glad to have such a good pub in thun! next to the great Irish beer selection I can only award the chick’nuggs... especially Wednesdays;) - there they are incredibly cheap! great pubambiente and nice service.

Finding anywhere outside of Great Britain and Ireland that has the feel of a pub is very difficult but McArthurs succeeds. With a good range of beers on tap and the best burgers in Thun it is definitely worth a visit.

I've been there for lunch and was surprised by the variation of food they had. Apart from that, it's everything you'd expect from an Irish Pub. Sports on several TV-Screens, traditional Irish interior and good Irish beer.

typically Irish, as you expect. they have many sorts of beer and other alcoholic beverages. eating is very fine and the service very fast and friendly. for a fun, uncomplicated evening the perfect bar. I can recommend it to everyone.

This is a friendly pub and most of the staff speak English. French didn't work, however.The food is copious and pretty good for pub food and the staff make you feel welcome. It is filled with TV screens and would be the perfect place to watch a football match.

Visited for dinner on a weeknight. Ate outside and ordered Fish Chips and the Vegetable Pie. Menu had some traditional pub choices as well as salads and burgers. Great service. Laid back , friendly environment—order food and drinks at the bar and they will...deliver to your table.

the mcarthur is the sportable in thun and region. from all corners well-visible tw and on top of it runs tiptop fussball! eating is classic and very good. various burgers, fries and snacks with very good quality!The service is very customer-friendly and is also happy to celebrate.
