M&S Café - Carte

Had a nice bacon roll and chicken roll from breakfast and lunch menu was very nice and green tea . Clean and quite when we went good table service too.

Lovely fresh breakfast delivered to our table quickly and with a smile. Good choice of hot food along with cold choice too. Bit of a queue for hot drinks but worth the wait

Poor staffing levels, probably over the busiest period of the day.Poor layout ingress and egress, and low quality food and premium prices. Surely not what is expected of M&S Voir le carte

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. The staff was rude, the service was slow, and the tables were not cleared. The food was okay once it finally arrived, but I will not be returning.

Understaffed and tables piled high with dirty plates, cups etc. The limited staff on there best and you can’t help but feel for them when they continually apologise to the customers. Come on M&S, even Sainsbury’s Cafe next door is better!

Couldn’t make any substitutions to the menu. I don’t like runny eggs or baked beans so asked for extra toast and mushrooms. Was told I’ll have to pay extra for that. I did do but never received them. It was all cold when delivered as was the espresso coffee. Voir le carte

I used to enjoy going to M&S for lunch as a special treat, but lately something has changed in their cafes that is not good. The tables are not being cleared, the serving stations are messy, and the staff act as if you are an inconvenience just for being there. It is not a good experience.

The restaurant was packed, with all the staff working hard and tables being cleared promptly. Despite the busy environment, we couldn't fault the service. Jacqui stood out as a calm, polite, and smiling member of the staff. She not only checked if we needed anything else, but also took the time to chat with children while efficiently serving meals. She is a true asset to the restaurant and I hope they keep her!

I attended today with my daughter who for personal reasons struggles to eat out without planning ahead. She picked an item but I misheard and ordered else. When it arrived and wasn't what she was expecting she became upset. I explained this to Kat who discreetly discussed this with Sam in the kitchen. My mistake was quickly rectified without any fuss and lots of discretion. Thank you to both. No one can ever know the story behind those eating in the cafe and I can't thank them enough for their understanding. Voir le carte
