The restaurant was not open but would still highly recommend a visit, the team are very friendly and helpful.

Popped in with a friend for a quick lunch. Always like the chicken wrap with fries and salad. Alas the the salady bit had changed since my last visit all chopped peppers dripped in oil so left that, as I like a proper side salad and not pretentious leaves either) coffee always nice not too strong or bitter. Give it a whirl if your passing.

The soup came in a charming little teacup and was thick and flavorful—definitely a treat! The quiche was quite good as well. For the 11-year-old, we decided to order an adult portion, but the table also had a children's option that looked perfect for younger kids. The service was exceptional and really enhanced the experience. The presentation in vintage teacups, saucers, and side plates added to the charm. The scones, especially when freshly baked, rank among the best I've ever had. The pumpkin scones are delightful—I’ve bought them to take away twice now. The scones and custard pies are quite substantial as well. They also cater to various dietary needs, offering gluten-free and vegan options in their assortment of cakes and pastries. As for meals, every time I've eaten here, the food has been great—better than most pubs I've visited recently. There are many good options on the menu, all well-presented and very tasty. The standout for me is the complete vegetarian breakfast, paired with a cup of tea topped with soy milk.

The tea included mini soups, mini tartlets with chips, and four triangular sandwiches featuring ham and cheese with cranberry, along with turkey stuffed with sausage meat and cranberry, roasted egg, and smoked salmon. There were also mini pigs in blankets and seven delightful mini sweets for each of us. I even needed a takeaway box for the leftovers! Of course, there was a selection of tea and coffee, as well as a 250ml glass of wine. have been sitting here for the Christmas afternoon tea with my mother. at £29.95 for two people it was definitely one of the best in the afternoon tees we had. it consisted of a small cup mushroom soup, a small filet of fish and chips and mini boars in cover. sandwiches contain cheese and cranberry, ham and tomato, smoked salmon, roasted beef and bark bags, truthahn and filling. the selection of sweet tasty eggs was excellent. miniature minze cake, stollen, ingwer brot biscuits, chocolate mousse star, chocolate and caramel mousse chocolate present and an erdnus and white chocolate button. they get a selection of tea or coffee. mum had to bring the most sweet tasty home as she couldn't finish...
