Food is good to very good, the wine suggestions of Sizilian white wine was reasonably priced and of good quality. If the restaurant is full (which was our case) the service is still friendly but a bit slow

We had dinner with friends we all enjoyed our meal my mates loved the liver dish the fish was very good came out hole and then filleted the waiter was friendly and efficient the bottled was a little expensive

The restaurant is nicely located in a small park. It offers excellent Italian food and wines as well as friendly and professional service. The outside seating is beautifully located next to the park. You should consider making a reservation!

Very good Italian food seems to be a local favorite for receptions and small local celebration. High end interior decor with many wines. Linen table cloth and China not recommended for children inside dinners but umbrella and outside dining is popular with good weather.

Nice waiter and cosy ambience. The food is not very good for the fairly high price (lax noodles about 18 euros). Fat sauce, lash and unrefined seasoned. The tiramisu has not much in common with Italian tiramisu. Strong lemony and pappy. Outside in the covered winter garden it is warm. But: it is smoked. Inside it is colder than in winter garden. I wouldn't go back.

I ate there on a whim with my kids without any prior knowledge of the restaurant. They made us feel welcome and helped us understand the menu since our German proficiency ranges from weak to nonexistent. All the food was excellent, and the recommended wine paired nicely with the food. I ended up spending a lot more than I expected, but it was well worth it. I will return, but next time with my wife for more of a night out.

After living for 17 years in Italy all pseudo-Italian restaurants I find in Germany make me actually laugh. At Machiavelli am Roseneck me and my husband found the real Italian hospitality and authentic food without germanized everything with butter or fried fish called "grilled". Very nice experience, in few days we stayed in a hotel nearby we visited the restaurant more times and remained always very satisfied. Thank you:)

Our experience with this restaurant has caused me to wish that Trip Advisor would have negative numbers. To rate this restaurant a zero is a step up for it. Our experience began with one of our group getting their food, and for approximately an hour, this was the only food at the table. This occurred despite our request that we all receive our food at the same time. The only reason the food came out after an hour was because one of our party got up to find out what was going on.The calamari salad had all of four calamari, and was oily, and the pasta was extremely salty.The pizza was mediocre, and we could not wait to get out of there.I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. Machiavelli is the fourth restaurant to occupy a beautiful space at the edge of the Grünewald on Clayalle in Berlin since the original owners retired about 10 years ago. Somehow no one was able to capture the charm of the traditional German space which had been there for decades. Machiavelli seems to have come close.
