"Well, is it a wine bar that serves food or a restaurant that has an excellent offer in wines? I would go for the first option, in view of the limited choice of meals. But don't bother, the meals we took (potatoes with eggs and foie; steak tartare) were excellent! Their own wine, Raió, was a positive surprise: elevated in terracotta amphoras and thereafter bottled. Great balance of ripe fruits. Why a score of 4 and not 5? Because it's worth at least 4.5 but just not the full five..."

A fantastic menu with excellent wines and desserts. An authentic pleasure for the senses. The owners are very gentle with the costumers. The restaurant is located near Palamós beach, while enjoying your meal you will find the satisfaction of the sun and wonderful views. Voir le carte

the local is small and very cozy ideal for couples or small groups. the letter is simple but very elaborate. We ate rice with cod, chipirones with artichokes and home salad. desserts are made to themselves, I took a super soft and nothing heavy tiramisu. We're looking for excuses to come back!

We fell upon on this little restaurant on an impromptu cruise stop in palamos due to bad weather in France Originally stopped for a beer but the food menu looked good We were not disappointed ! The Patatas Bravas is the best we have ever eaten and the fried fish and anchovies /tomato bread is to die for. Spoke to the chef who advised all food was local And fresh ! If we can we will return !

excellent quality and services !! high prices but excellent quality. a croquette for 9€ that brings 6. if they are excellent. the wine of the pork figure is recommended. is a range between sweet and bitter. for the well-known wine loin, and the range phyrnet, this. Add to the specifics, add a pink sauce that is exquisite! I recommend you order mixed croquettes. super delicious! We serve to Mary, super friendly and honest! Voir le carte

It wasn’t our first time in MacaBeu so we knew where we were heading to. We tried a new truffle themed menu that was absolutely delicious. Every flavour blended so well with each other in every dish Ricardo offered us. And even better with every wine Marta suggested. Each dish definitely reflects the essence of the region. Fresh and high quality products guaranteed. If you’re in Empordà Costa Brava and your’re a foodie, don’t even hesitate to stop by!

We visited Macabeu on a Monday when many of the other restaurants are closed, and had great service in the early afternoon sun. Being talked through the drink and food specials for the day, we ended up taking choices of some of both. Great conversation with our server and the restaurant manager, and the serving of red prawns specific to the area was a great and unique opportunity on its own. Would highly reconnend visiting if you have the chance, you won't be disappointed!

"We had a meal consisting of the set menu, consisting of appetizers, main dishes and desserts. It was all wonderful. The restaurant served us a small appetizer with olives. We ordered as appetizers fried calamari, and croquetas of chicken and of cheese. Spanish croquetas have a thin crunchy breaded coat over a pasty filling. Both types were savory, and the cheese croquetas were filled with a kind of blue cheese, which kept its distinctive flavor but was not overpowering. Two groups of two diners shared two of the signature dishes at the restaurant: seafood paella, and seafood fideua. Fideua is a dish prepared much like paella, except using inch-long pieces of broken fideos, a fine noodle commonly used is Spain for soups, instead of rice. Both were excellent. I had the chicken, also very good. For desserts, we had chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce which was not too sweet, just a little tart; sorbet de maracuya (passionfruit) which was also tart, but delicious in taste with a great consistency; mango ice cream, sweet and very creamy with a delicious flavor; requesón (a kind of creamy Spanish cheese) with layers of honey; and crema catalana, which is sort of like a Catalan version of flan with a surface of caramelized sugar, also delicious. All the desserts are house-made. The server was very polite, attentive and engaged, offering suggestions and demurrers as he felt necessary. The woman who served as the maitre d' was also very engaging, and described what were possibly her creations — the restaurant is small, and there were only the two of them in the dining room — lovingly, and made suggestions based on preference expressed. She may have been the owner; I didn't ask. I whole-heartedly recommend it for great food. It cost us €170 for 5 fixed-price dinners, a couple of glasses of wine, some soft drinks, a couple of bottles of water."
