"As part of a birthday party we met today at the Luzifer in Eckernförde. This restaurant is located right at the port in a good location and is always well visited, especially as the corner village is overwhelmed by tourists in these days. A table is ordered and made, we will take place there at 13:00. The service is friendly, burschikos. The menus are distributed and drinks are welcome. The drinks come quickly, and when everyone arrives, the food orders are taken from the card. As it turns out, when the house leaves, there are special dishes on this day, which were not by inserts in the menu or by the service that was very regrettable afterwards. Before dinner I visit the sanitary facilities and am not so enthusiastic. They are completely new and stylish, but not clean this hour. However, locality opens at 9 a.m. But others can do that much better. After a reasonable waiting period, the food comes and is “distributed” by two employees. “Can someone take the plate, I burn my fingers...” After all the plates have found their target over heads and over the table, it can go. The scavengers and other fish dishes probably do not offer much reason to discuss. In total, three people and I have ordered the “Sylter” Pannfisch. Full flower name: „Feinefilets aus dem Ostseefisch in der Brotkrümel fried on roasted potatoes with Pommery mustard sauce“. I would rather have called it roasted potatoes with mustard sauce and fishermen's supplement... The powder was simply not nicely prepared, too many potatoes and too little fish. The mustard sauce had a good consistency, but too little mustard. The fish fillet is good in taste, but too long roasted. And for what actually a little when the ingredients come there only after completion. We were kindly welcomed and helped me as a wheelchair user to find a suitable table. Very nice place and felt good. Food was very delicious, my wife and I had asparagus with ham, or I with salmon fillet. We look forward to the next visit and hope that this will be so beautiful and delicious again. Missed opportunity. First off Luzifer is in perhaps the best location in town and is very easy to find, just look for the tall brick silo close to the harbor, tallest building around. Their weekend brunch is pretty good, though it may be necessary to reserve a table. It's buffet style and has a good variety of fresh food in all varieties. Service, however, leaves something to be desired. Numerous people report waiting over 15 minutes after sitting down without getting ever an acknowledgement from a server, which they responded to by leaving. The diner and lunch food is pretty standard and is priced fairly.
