"I discovered this restaurant through a campervan app that highlights areas with free parking, as I needed to be in Blackpool early the following day. Although campervans aren't permitted in the pub's parking lot, there is ample space available on the nearby hard standings. It's a charming, traditional local pub with a warm atmosphere complete with a real fire and excellent food. I ordered the homemade chicken Kiev, which takes about 30 minutes to prepare since it's made to order, and it was absolutely delightful. I will definitely return. I highly recommend this hidden gem—it's truly worth seeking out! Wookiee."

"I can see why this place is highly rated. The food is VERY tasty. My husband and I travelled about 30 mins to get to this restaurant because of all the food reviews, and it did not disappoint. I’m a city girl so this was a big departure from the glam city restaurants I would typically eat in, it’s a very small, cosy, village type restaurant, but that also has it’s charm. I like my food with a spicy kick and they nailed it! I would highly recommend trying Orathai restaurant out."

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. Our first impressions were not great - we arrived at 2 o'clock and inquired about checking into our room. We were told check-in wasn't until 3 o'clock, but the receptionist offered to let us pay a fee to receive the key early. We explained we had a wedding to prepare for that evening. Despite this, the receptionist insisted we come back closer to check-in time. At 2:55, I returned to the reception where there were two couples ahead of me. The receptionist took our names and called housekeeping to see if our rooms were ready - unfortunately, they were not. With only 5 minutes until check-in time, I expected the rooms to be prepared, especially considering the early check-out time of 11 o'clock. Despite the wait, the receptionist assured us the rooms would be ready in 5 minutes. Exactly at 3 o'clock, like clockwork, we were finally allowed to check in. The room was mostly clean, although the toilet was not up to standard. I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness given the amount of time they had to prepare. On a positive note, the rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Another receptionist during our visit was much more polite. I have stayed in many hotels for both business and leisure purposes, and have never encountered such a strict check-in policy."

"My youngest twin daughter and I recently celebrated her birthday at the restaurant, even though my oldest twin couldn't join us this time. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wait between courses was very short. I'm not sure if it was a Tuesday or not, but I can say that the portions were quite generous. We started with a sharing platter for two, then ordered one garlic naan and another dish to share, and everything was fantastic. I tried the chicken mansoor for the first time and will definitely order it again. Highly recommended!"
