Lowdown Coffee - Menu

Stopped here back in October and would highly recommend it. Had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated as it was very busy, but absolutely worth it. Staff were lovely and helpful, coffee was incredible, and our brownie was delicious.

This restaurant serves the best coffee I have ever had! It's a shame they don't offer any hot food options. If they had a crispy bacon roll on the menu, I would have been in heaven. But it's worth visiting just for the amazing coffee in Edinburgh.

I recently had the best coffee and avocado toast I've had in a long time. The coffee was smooth and was the perfect way to start my Saturday. The avocado toast was out of this world, with the hummus, pomegranate, and harissa adding so much flavor. I definitely recommend starting your day here!

a very popular caffe in the new city edinburgh, which deserved the hype. excellent coffee, once a waitress recommended me a special coffee with Kenyan bonian intense taste, slightly acidic note, aromatic and I loved it so much. the food we had were also super, fragrant and creamy suppe, well made toast with fresh ingredients and pliable sourdough. the chocolate cake is also worth trying.

they have stopped here for lunch, they make a concerted effort to get purple to fill the tables in fairness! large windows allow much light, so it is very beautiful and bright in a compact caffeine! we both have the suppe and sandwich offers with the chicken sandwich and various soups. both were delicious suppen, the coffee was great, tee was nice and service was without mistake! would definitely recommend and will come again!

I tried a special coffee recommended by a waitress, made with Kenyan bonian beans that had an intense flavor with a slightly acidic note and a wonderful aroma. The food we ordered was excellent as well, including a fragrant and creamy soup, expertly made toast with fresh ingredients, and deliciously soft sourdough. Don't miss out on the chocolate cake—it's definitely worth trying.

During our stay in New Town, Edinburgh, we decided to have breakfast at this restaurant. We arrived right when they opened and managed to secure a table by the window. The place quickly filled up, thanks to the excellent coffee and food on offer. Our coffee was superb, and the avocado toast we ordered was fantastic. Coming from California, we have high expectations for avocado dishes, but this one really impressed us. The breakfast sandwich with egg, ham, and cheddar was also delicious. The staff was very friendly and kind. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a quick, tasty breakfast with amazing coffee. Highly recommended.
