Nous avons eu vraiment de la chance et avons volé la dernière table pour 2 personnes. Excellent dîner et excellent service. Meilleur repas que nous avons eu à Châlons ; Fortement recommandé si vous pouvez avoir une table !

We spotted this restaurant last year on our way back from skiing, but couldn't get a table so made sure we booked in advance this time. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service friendly. Highly recommended.

Je suis retourné dans ce petit restaurant au cœur de Châlons après 8 mois. La nourriture est toujours fantastique et il y a beaucoup de nouveaux plats créatifs au menu. Tous délicieux avec un service courtois. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

We had a wonderful meal here. The menu was excellent with good choices and we enjoyed a half bottle of local champagne which was divine. The staff were very friendly and attended us very well. After cycling 100 km we were hungry, but we left here replete and very happy. Thank you.

Nous avons eu un très bon repas ici, l'entrée était délicieuse, mais je dois dire que le canard que nous avons tous les deux pris ensuite était un peu sec. Mais dans l'ensemble, nous reviendrions certainement ici. Le service était bon, et le vin de la maison aussi bon. Une soirée très agréable dans une très jolie ville.

Great little but popular restaurant, booking advised but not essential. Offer a number of menus or a la carte. 27 euro for weekend menu with additional starter for free. Great house wine. We had wonderful seafood salad and salmon terrine. Fish and lamb mains very well presented and tasty. Tiramisu pud plus coffee. Recommended. Staff good.

Nous avons passé un excellent dîner ici, que je ne peux vraiment pas critiquer. Le menu était assez varié pour convenir à la plupart des goûts, et ils proposent une bonne sélection de vins de diverses régions françaises. Les prix sont très raisonnables. Le personnel était sympathique et efficace, le restaurant était très propre, et ils étaient heureux d'accepter mon chien. J'y mangerais volontiers à nouveau si je suis jamais à Châlons.

Nicholas and Valerie and their team are a delight to work with. Friends in FR over winter visited for multiple birthday celebrations. Chef N was helpful around birthday gateaux and Celiac allergies. Valerie always checking with the table during our visit. Menu diverse; fresh; and tasty. Upstairs for our party of 10 suited our needs as the area has fabulous light through large glass doors. We All recommend this restaurant. The new owners commenced in Sept 2021, under the same name, so if you haven’t been since Sept, give it a go welcome Nicholas and Valerie we wish your business the very best you deserve it. Within 20 minutes of opening the downstairs restaurant was full and there was a large party upstairs. Despite this, I had an unhurried, really good 3 course meal with coffee afterwards and left within the hour I eat quickly. The service is excellent. The menu is traditional French but what is surprising is the cost seriously good value. My paté de campagne was generous and very good. The veal was again a generous portion and well executed. I chose the cheese rather than a dessert (although the desserts I saw looked very nice) and 3 cheeses arrived, all in perfect condition and not just from the fridge.
