Quantity over quality, lots of pasta but little authentic nor tasteful ingredients.

a good place to drink something or eat some light. the terrace is very nice and comfortable, although I was there in september.

really friendly waiter, beautiful location (fit for people to watch if they want this) and delicious food! we both had a pizza, they have some interesting combinations there, but the ones we had were delicious! we also loved the desserts absolutely!

the restaurant has a good environment. good service. but eating is not as delicious as we expect. salat leos casa is the only one that is good. pasta with chicken and salmon are not so good. a point for the environment, a point for the service, another. a price for salat and not expensive.

We come here regularly when we're in food. leo’s casa is a beautiful restaurant with good service. we were about 10 with the group, but nevertheless the service was excellent. waiter who visited us were friendly and fast. the drinks came out quickly and the...appearants and escaped were of good quality. all together fixed place to dinner!

The Europahaus in Essen houses two establishments : the Stratmann's theatre, a well respected cabaret and theatre, and this restaurant. The menu changes every season and their dishes are all worth your while, both in quality and quantity. Basically Italian style, but with an international...twist. A set standard for the cast and audience of Stratmann's theatre !

We looked for dinner and went to Leos without a reservation. It was full, but the waiter cleared a table for us. We had some crostini (great with aglio) and carpacchio. Then, I went for the salad with fish and that was really delicious! Next...time again... We asked for a red wine, and got some sip for degustation and finally we ended up with the dAsti great, but you shall give him some minutes for airing. Next time again...

The restaurant was fairly business when I and 2 colleagues visited this restaurant. After waiting 15 minutes to be served drinks, we asked for the English menu, which we never received. After another 15 minutes we got our drinks and ordered our food using google...translate. Another 20 mins later we got our starters. Then there was a 30 minute wait between our plates being collected and our mains arriving. Our waitress was apologetic and did the best she could but it seemed that they were understaffed in the kitchen and out front Apart from the slow service, the food was good. The tomatoes on the bruschetta was very fresh and tasty. Pizzas were also very tasty. This would have been a 5 star...

I' ve been here with my husband for a dinner and in the next days in many other hours. Very good location in the middle of the principal Essen's square. The entire menù is written in Italian (with many errors like porco instead of maiale ...Very few dishes are really italian but there is some very similar. I ate a good caprese with a fresh mozzarella (fiordilatte) and good tomato. They make also a good pizza, more similar to the Rome's type but good taste. At first I thought there was some ketchup in the tomato' s sauce but trying their fresh tomatoes in the caprese I understood that is a particular taste of it. Not the best pizza in the world but one of the best in Essen. Good Italian wine....
