"I ordered catering services from Man'Ouchy for my thesis defense and I was incredibly happy with it. The team prepared a lovely selection of mezzés (falafel, spinach pie, rkakat feta, and kebbé accompanied by plenty of lebanese bread, taboulé, and dips (hummus and eggplant caviar . Many of my guests came up to me and told me how much they loved the food. I fully agree with them. I would definitely order again!"

"Worth coming from Lausanne. Great staff, welcoming and takes time to explain their menu and even translate stuff. Food was really good. The pumpkin soup (courge) was just top notch plus the bourse aux champignons (mushrooms) was special and good. We tried the duck and fish. Both plates were presented well, side vegis were delicious and the sauces were good. Local wine was good too."

"Twice we pick up food there, and once the portions where poor, so I advised to check before going out. And the second, the owner was quite rude, we where reading the menu and he took it out of my hands saying it was weakling menú, so I might as well check it from the web. Poor guy really"

"Im Holy Cow gibt es sehr einfachen Service und einfache Einrichtung, aber es ist sauber und ein tolles Konzept. Bestellung an der Kasse und innerhalb weniger Minuten hat mein seinen Burger und super leckere Pommes am Tisch. Sitzmöglichkeiten auch im Aussenbereich, wobei man direkt an einer (wenig befahrenen) Straße sitzt. Burger groß mit toller Auswahl. Die Pommes waren wirklich sehr lecker!"

"Au Charbon is family managed restaurant, set in a pleasant and quiet part of Lausanne, easily reached on the bus, if like me, you are touring. The restaurant is ‘cosy’ and the owners have maximised the number of seats available, which sounds like me...spinning a cramped venue but it actually works out okay. We had sufficient room to relax and eat without imposing on our neighbouring tables, so the efficient spacing added to the atmosphere and the wine waiter added character. The restaurant has a traditional pizzeria menu with no surprises with the choice of pizza, steaks etc. All our choices were well presented, cooked exactly to request and delicious. Portion sizes were just right too On the down side, the table service was very slow, it took around an hour for the first course and one dish was wrong when it eventually arrived but we put that down to being busy. The lady serving was also a bit too presumptuous that the change from the bill would be her tip and she didn’t return the change, eventually coming back to confirm if this was so. In summary, I enjoyed my meal and time at Au Charbon, they seem to have earned their reputation from being consistent in serving nicely presented dishes that are cooked well. The higher end options are a bit on the pricey side if you are on holiday, especially when considering this is a pizzeria (a steak costing CHF). However most restaurants of this type in Lausanne are similarly priced and it is what it is."
