Le Grand Bleu - Menu

Tourist trap, to avoid absolutely. Food was tasteless and as if it had been left out for hours. Staff was rude without mentioning waiting time. A joke of an establishment!

Bon menu pour les enfants à 9.50 euros mais d'autres plats sont avec des ingrédients pauvres et pas bien cuits. 2 bouteilles d'eau pour 11 euros, pas honnête dans ce contexte. On ne reviendra pas !

Un dimanche midi à Saint-Florent, il y avait beaucoup de monde. Malheureusement, j'ai oublié d'utiliser mon application habituelle. J'aurais dû le faire : bien que le personnel soit aimable, nous sommes déçus. Le repas n'est pas mauvais mais manque de saveur.

Inadequate staffing led to long wait to order, even longer wait for food, although drinks came quickly once ordered. Nice chips but awful mussels cold, little sauce no bread offered. Toilet was dreadful tiny, very low entrance (I returned to the table with paint flakes in my hair), seat falling off.

Can’t understand these negative reviews. We both thought this restaurant offered a well cooked good value for money meal. I had the canard de magret and my wife the escalope forestiere with a pitcher of the local Patrimonio vin blanc. Both meals well presented. We also had a litre of water and bread at no extra cost. We were too full for a desert, but these looked delicious. We settled for coffees. Nice, unpretentious service. Total bill 49 euros.

We picked this restaurant at random: oh dear! The menus arrived quite quickly, and once ordered, so did our drinks. But over a hour's wait for moules/frites is unacceptable. When they did arrive (and, in fairness, looking quite good), the moules were stone cold. Not just warm, as if they had been hot 10 minutes ago, but cold. No bread was offered, and I really wasn't prepared to argue the point. A family party of 10 came in just after us, and didn't seem to do any better. I must have had less inspiring meals, but not in Corsica, and not recently.

Les restaurants dans ce cou des bois sont très chers, et ne se comparent pas en valeur au continent. Cependant cet endroit juste à côté de la marina où beaucoup d'autres restaurants ply pour votre commerce offre une gamme de choix sur leur menu à prix fixe de 18.50. Une assiette de steak et de salade Entrecote est venue à 16 euros, un quart de pichet de vin à 5. Le jour où nous étions là, le service était bon et attentif, mais je serais sûr d'avoir été mieux encore si elles n'avaient pas été dépassées par un entraîneur allemand qui n'avait pas aussi réservé. Pour être justes, ils ont bien réfléchi et réussi à garder leurs sourires.

My food was disgusting and inedible... I sent it back. It was returned to me still the same and inedible. When the sloppy waiter came to collect my plate with most of my meal uneaten, I complained and he ignored me. On paying, I said I should not be charged for my meal, to which he replied he does own the Resturant and does not give a f@€k. He said this to me twice! It was pricey and they were streaming the World Cup semi-final. It was 3 minutes behind any other Resturant in Saint Florent... the waitresses’s Instagram notices were coming up on the screen during the match. We lost reception a few times too.
