"After a football match, four of us found ourselves wanting a bite to eat, and we decided on this restaurant because we had enjoyed it in the past and were never let down. I had honestly forgotten just how exceptional this place is. We didn’t have a reservation, but since it was early, we were seated right away. We quickly ordered some cold, reasonably-priced bottled beer, then turned our attention to the menu. Though the menu isn't extensive, that's part of its charm. It features a handful of starters, several classic French dishes, burgers, as well as savory and sweet crepes, ensuring there's something for everyone. We ended up ordering beef bourguignon, beef stroganoff, a Cajun chicken burger, and a cheeseburger. Everything was freshly prepared in the open kitchen and served to us piping hot. Within 15 minutes, our plates were wiped clean—there wasn’t a single thing to complain about. We will definitely be returning!"

The food here is fantastic, made from high-quality ingredients and truly homemade. It's a hidden gem in Hull. I've been a regular customer because it's simply the best food in the area, and the atmosphere is so relaxed. I highly recommend it!

Visited for the first time and it was lovely! It was the Christmas menu but was offered meals from their standard menu also. The food was lovely but was so full after 2 courses, we couldn't manage the dessert. The service was fantastic and can't wait to go again. Voir le carte

I have been going to this restaurant for years and nowhere else tops it. Best beef stroganoff in the world in my opinion. Just really wonderful friendly service. I have been ordering delivery whilst the restaurant has been closed due to the pandemic and the service and food is still flawless.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was a great experience! They had a Christmas menu, along with items from their regular menu. The food was delightful, but after two courses, we were so full that we couldn't fit in dessert. The service was outstanding, and I can't wait to return!
