Le Cassoulet - Menu

The steaks are OK for a restaurant in Stuttgart. The burgers are good but the risotto was always overdone, with mushy mushy rice. Not an inspiring list of desserts either.

Buffet dinner, sunday brunch, they are good, many choice and good display as well. Not cheap, but correct values what you receive. Best sunday buffet in Stuttgart and around.

Had breakfast here on mornings and the selection was varied and plentiful with endless cups of very good filtered coffee. The staff are excellent and the presentation and service are top notch.

So this is a really fancy place for dinner in the heart of Stuttgart. We ordered the course meal with red wine, delicious food and very friendly staff. Speaks very good English. We recommend the zwiebel menu

I tried this restaurant in Le Meridien over years.. the breakfast is one of my favorite meals since it has a very wide selection of pastry, cheese, cold cuts, and fruit, the fresh made food station could be enhanced but still the quality of...food is great. Also, their beef tenderloin, the salmon steak and their pizzas are delicious, and I tried several pastas but weren't my favorite to be honest.

We booked for an a la carte meal on a Friday evening, prior to visiting Stuttgart. The full menu appealed to our tastes. We were disappointed to be told that Fridays are buffet choice days. The buffet of French styled and local Schwabian dishes were...Ok, but not the high end experience we were expecting. Maitre'd and server were both very friendly and the dining room pleasant, just not what we were looking for. I'm sure the experience is better on other evenings.

Friday night this restaurant serves a French buffet. The buffet is reasonable in size. The salmon pate was superb, the foie gras missed something at least semi-sweet to harmonize the taste. The venison pate was not really good. The chicken was good, the duck was...dry. Deserts were reasonable but without phantasy. The buffet wine list was poor. Fortunately I could choose an excellent Barolo from the normal restaurant wine list. To have a look there was not entirely easy. I spoke to the waiter who sent me the head waiter who I had to convince to unwillingly show me the wine menu. And finally the service was not really polite.

Dined here our first night and was a little dismayed at the slow service. Were seated immediately but not given a menu or wine list. Waiter/host came back a little later and provided them and left again not to return for another minutes! That's...how it went all evening. The meals were quite good--cassoulet of lamb/sausage with red and white beans in a tasty sauce was very good; the wienerschnitzel was average but nice size portion. Had a very good dry riesling which was a perfect complement to our dinners. Had to pour our own wine and water throughout the evening! Wouldn't rush back but given the construction and heavy traffic in the area, we were kind of limited in places to dine.

We came for a diner and update meeting with colleagues. We were especially attracted by the photo from other guests on the trip adviser. Evening got us off the wrong foot: the dinning area and the food were completely different than we expected – internet...site need to be updated promptly. Next our waitress was not sure about menu items and needed to ask somone . After the wine was serve we were left to fend for ourselves for almost an hour due to a group (so we were told) in a privet dining area. At that time we received an amuse bush that did not wow us.
