We arrived and were the only ones in the restaurant. We looked at the menu and selected the tasting menu. The waitress returned 5 minutes later to be told the chef says he can't do the tasting menu. We decided to leave.

I could write an essay praising the food and the chef but suffice to say it was EXCELLENT. I’ve spent 3 weeks touring southern Italy and eaten some great food but this was the BEST. Highly recommend this place if you are in Gallipoli????

absolutely recommend to visit Lazzaro and Caterina. The food quality is excellent, the service is fantastic and the price is absolutely fair for what you get. The ambiance is great, with nice lounge-style music and a fully thought through interior design.
