"Why have I not gone here before? My wife took me out for a birthday dinner and I chose this place as somewhere new to try. It's in a great location just opposite the Playhouse Theatre and very close to Princes Street. What a great...choice! The food was excellent and every dish was beautifully presented. I'm sure it's all good but we loved the whitebait, calamari, octopus, pork cheeks, Spanish black pudding and salad with grilled goats cheese. We had dishes between us, portions were decent and good value for such quality food. The staff were really friendly and even sang me happy birthday and brought me a wee cake. The atmosphere was great and it felt like everyone was having a happy night out. Just what we all need in these difficult times. Thanks La Sal for a great experience!! We'll be back."

I was there a few times and is never disappointing, I had paella and I must say is one of the best that have tried in a dae, we order also corquetas it was nice crunchy with a rich cream in highly recommended also an aubergine cake, deep fried paprika and salate to share, they have good vegetarian options as well. everything was really good and perfectly cooked the service was also great, the waitress recommended us a bottle of red wine to make a great match with our dinner is a good option to have authentic Spanish cuisine in the city.

to be Spanish, my standards for Spanish restaurants are quite high and I must admit that lasal can be my favorites in the city. all there (at least everything I tried) tastes like it came out of my mother's kitchen. taste their fantastic table from cheese and broth, order the olives, try their selection of croquetas (they are so good) and do not miss their pulpo a la gallega (oktoberhäute galician style). for desserts their homemade flan with vanilleeis is a tasty bite. yes, the service is a bit slow, but it is worth if you want a bit of spanish
