This charming, traditional Lakeland pub has plenty of lovely vintage features throughout the bar. We'll definitely be back on our next camping trip to Stonethwaite.

Lovely country in located at the end of the road up a steep valley. Warm comfy rooms with gorgeous views of hills and fields. Great food in the bar which was busy and convivial atmosphere Voir le carte

This was my second visit, as we almost stay next door. The service is consistently friendly and the food is excellent. We all ordered the slow-cooked lamb, which was delicious. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, I had to go a few doors down from this pub. The food was excellent, and every time we visit, the chefs do a fantastic job. The staff were also wonderful. I would definitely recommend it!

stay here for 1 night (on Sunday) dinner, bed and breakfast for a great price. a bit off the beaten track, but a breathtaking location. exactly what we wanted. beautiful cozy little place. beautiful atmosphere and beautiful staff. I can't wait to go back next year.

Forgot to eat in Keswick and stopped here out of desperation. What a result. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Got decent coffee with really good complimentary short bread sheep biscuit. Ordered the hot beef ciabatta with dippy gravy. Superb. We didn't mean to come here but we will go back on purpose. Service: 5
