A certainty in the heart of Bologna! Rich and tasty ice cream, never cloying and very balanced. Possibility to consume both outside and inside. Also suitable for gluten-free and vegan. Large and good selection of ice cream flavors. Bright and clean ice cream parlor. The service was friendly and was able to explain a few things to us in English. There is some indoor and outdoor seating. Pistachio tasted best. The other varieties tasted too sweet for us. The prices are OK. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but they seriously went above and beyond their normal bad service and we actually feared for our safety! The fat bearded guy had a tantrum and started shoving pans and screaming in the middle of our order!! It was nothing short of a nightmare! And the quality has seriously dropped, too sweet and ice crystals in every bite, so I would advise you to find somewhere else. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Historic ice cream shop at the end of Via Castiglione near Porta, I must say I don't find the place beautiful, but the tastes and the level of the ice cream are incredible even by Bologna standards, the trifle was something indescribable, portions of ice cream quite small for 4 euros, but I imagine you just pay for the quality. Consumed today 3/16/2024, 2 flavors of ice cream, 3 euro basket. Like Mr. Ivan Lanzarini, whose review I read, to test an ice cream parlor I choose the classic cream and chocolate flavours: the first, a hazelnut colour, did not taste like eggs as it should have, but had an undefined flavour, the second had the right colour, but the flavor was identical to the indefinite one of the cream!
