We dined here last night after coming upon it. Service was beyond excellent and the food was delicious. Portions were generous and cost was reasonable. It would definitely be on the list of places to eat. Rabbit stew was so great as was gnocchi , veal cutlet, salad and spaghetti bolognese. grazie Voir le carte

beautiful little restaurant. very good value, very friendly and happy to bring early eater (by ferry times we had to all that we ate was nice, owner was so friendly and very passionate about fish. would recommend everyone for a less pretentious but very authentic meal. would recommend the seafood spaghetti!

The pictures on the wall show the owner at sea catching the fish he serves that night. His wife runs the restaurant part and is very friendly. you get to choose your fish which they then prepare with excellent seasonings. A eally good choice while you are out walking the wonderful shopping and dining street.

Ran by Husband and wife Paolo Francesca this is a friendly place to have the best Linguine Pescatora in Ischia! They also specialise in fresh fish dishes. Pizza are delicious too. We were ordering only a little seafood. When we saw photos with the owner out fishing, we expected something special. So after ordring all the other dishes, we also chose a fish from a counter in front of the restaurant. The owner became very happy. That was a great choise. The fish was wery fresh, which even made my wife eat part of the head. It has some hidden fresh parts, she said. When the owner served the fish, he made a show out of cutting away the bones and putting it onto plates. This was what he loved. After studying the menu board, the owner of La Sirena politely persuaded us (with a certain charm) to take a table normally we would have walked away. Once seated we spotted huge prints on the walls of him fishing from boats etc, he is obviously very proud and passionate about La Sirena. A good choice menu was brought to us by the owner’s wife and we ordered lasagne and pizza with salads and a side of fries for good measure. From the street Sirena looks like any small restaurant on a tourist street. Inside we found people, who their job seriously and with great enthusiasm. We saw on the street display counter seafood and mushrooms, and the host, who wasn`t too eager to get us in. Still, the quality of the ingrediences convinced us, and we did not regret. We chose giant prawns, mushrooms, and asked the waiter to prepare a dinner from them, and add maybe a third course if necessary. He gave a wine recommendation, and we had a wonderful, perfect dinner without reading through long foreign language menus, that give very little real help.
