"My wife and I visited on a Thursday around lunchtime, arriving just after 12 PM. We were welcomed by a lady who continued to clean the floor with a bucket and mop for 15 minutes after we were seated. The young man who served us was friendly but completely inexperienced as a waiter. After we placed our order, the food arrived, and while Parmesan was offered, it ended up spilling on our table and my phone without any apology. The music was excessively loud, and when I requested that it be turned down a bit, it was instead turned off entirely. We finished our meal without any further interaction from the staff to check if everything was alright, and our plates were left uncleared. There was no mention of dessert or coffee, and after waiting around in the almost empty restaurant, I decided to pay the bill and leave. I understand that staff need to learn, but this young man clearly hadn't received any training. However, I must commend the chef—the meal was hot and delicious. Perhaps a complimentary bread would have been a nice touch, especially considering our bill was £50 for drinks and just one main course. – David Wallace"
