"Saturday lunchtime we were invited to this restaurant by the lake of Neuchâtel. I immediately felt like I was on holiday in a Club Med somewhere by the sea. The staff were wearing Hawaiian type shirts, friendly and efficient service. First of all a large choice of tropicla cocktails, and we took accras de morue as well. Then a starter buffet with prawn cocktail, melon and parma ham, a delicious pâté en croûte, stuffed mussels, smoked salmon, tahini, stuffed eggs, prawns, plenty of salads, grilled bacon, spring rolls, breaded crab claws, stuffed vine leaves, salmon salad, tuna salad, and probably a whole lot of stuff that I have forgotten. As the restaurant if usually pretty busy there is a good turnover of their products, so everything is fresh. Afterwards a hot buffet with a beef curry, fish with amoricaine sauce, chicken satay, rice. There is also a buffet where you choose from prawns, beef, porc, chicken etc. and choose from a large selection of spices and sauces, and then a chef cooks it in front of you on a huge plancha. For dessert we had a plate of several small pâtisseries and fruit salad, and a coupe with lime and blackcurrant sorbet and fresh fruit. I think that this menu where you can eat as much as you want costs 44.80fr. per person, very good value for money! At the end of the meal the staff brought a straw hat and a flower necklace for our friend who was celebrating his birthday, and they sang 'Happy Birthday '. I had a really great time, good food, good ambiance beautiful location, what more can one ask? Will definitely be going back before too long."

Went for lunch and ordered meal of the day, water and then espresso. Interior of the restaurant is kitch unlimited. Outside is pleasant. Service is good. The food took some time but was excellent. Ample parking. Cost for two was 55 CHF.

Suite une smartbox. On a choisi un menu avec entrée Accras pas mauvais, plancha manque d'explication et trop cramée nous est resté sur l'estomac, dessert la farandole s'est transformé en une espèce de flan noix de coco arrosé de caramel, immangeable...

Great place for lunch or diner on a nice summer's day...Make sure to reserve during vacation period or the week end ! Went once before for buffet plancha grill...pick you veg and meats cooked in front of you ! Nice a la carte (Mauritian) influence... seafood ,curries, Exotic meat( kangaroo, crocadile) as well as beef filet ! Also at lunch a menu with a nice choice ! Prices are also quite reasonable ! I would recommend La Lagune !

En amuse bouche brochette de porc épicée et sauce coco, très bon. Nous avons ensuite commandé des accras Antillais, des filets de perches, une entrecôte d'Angus et pour le petit une éscalope pannée. Les portiins de frites les accras et l'éscalope étaient trop gras et les filets de perches avaient beaucoup d'arrètes. Le service était très bien. Je ne dis pas qu'on y retournera plus mais ce n'est pas le restaurant que je vais vivement conseiller.

Menu offert smart box: apéro cocktail aux fruits avec ou sans alcool, pas mauvais. Entrée Accras antillais jamais goûté mais bon, ensuite plancha pas assez d'explication donc 1ere assiette sans goût et cramée, 2ème plus de goût mais tout aussi cramée!! Dessert on nous dit farandole de dessert et on reçoit un semblant de on ne sait pas quoi, selon les dires de la serveuse ce serait un flan noix de coco arrosé de caramel!! Très décevant et en plus 2 serveuses pour un vendredi soir c est peu!! Amis de bonnes bouffes passez votre chemin!!!

Very nice venue next to lake Neuchâtel. I'm summer huge terrace with beautiful view. For those who have kids there is a nice playground just next to the terrace. We have been there as a couple but also ideal for bigger groups. Original decoration. Great choice of cocktails. Probably not for a small budget but worth it if you want to change from classic or traditional Swiss or French dishes. We took the buffet option which was really great. For the plancha you need to wait a bit as they cook your food in front of a huge plancha. Service was pleasant. Will definitely come again with friends and family.
