My daughter I had an amazing lunch platter at La Cantina. Beautifully presented platter of mixed meats, cheeses, olives fresh warm bread. Perfect lunch in the sun with a glass of wine. Lovely friendly hosts, definitely be returning

The cuisine at this restaurant is excellent and perfect for brunch or lunch when exploring the Old Town. They offer a delicious variety of Mediterranean dishes, such as potato gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese, all at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

Passed by strolling the old town...broccoli soup and saint miguel wine...delightful,simple. The owner was closed already but still served us with a smile, and simply done. Feels like time had stopped here...so we can enjoy the simplicity and the beauty of the place. A must do here. Voir le carte

I went to eat a sandwich with prociutto, mozzarella and some kind of Italian cheese that I do not remember the name, everything was very good, the small place but cozy enough! After the sandwich we took two cannoli and we were absolutely happy with this choice they were really good!

Absolutely the most wonderful place to go in Hastings, or anywhere for that matter. We have been many times, and not once have we been disappointed. Fresh, super friendly and authentic. The owners are adorable, and the food is so moreish that it becomes a problem what not to have!! Highly recommended

Visited this place with my girlfriend and we took 2 sandwich (Italian panini). Probably one of the best panino I’ve ever had in this country. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to try the pasta but I hope there is gonna be a second visit in Hastings to visit the owner Gino another time and try his fantastic products. Voir le carte

This is one of my go-to restaurants. The ambiance is laid-back and the staff is welcoming, always happy to discuss the menu options or make special preparations. While there may be a wait for your food, it is definitely worth it. I have never been disappointed with a meal here; each dish is incredible and the prices are surprisingly affordable given the high quality.

I never noticed this restaurant before, so I'm not sure how long it has been there. However, my friends and I spotted 4 available seats outside and decided to grab them since it was a busy street. The table was cleared promptly and the service was friendly. We ordered some drinks, including Aperol Spritz, which were all served well. The waiter even asked if we wanted something to nibble on with our drinks, so we agreed. We were presented with some delicious canapés, such as black olive tapenade on crisp bread, sun-dried tomatoes, and a dish of marinated mushrooms and peppers. The flavors were amazing and everything looked great. We will definitely be back to try out the full menu. This place...

Having moved to Hastings in February from Eastbourne I found myself really missing Mamma Mi, a small Italian cafe in Eastbourne. I have only ever been past La Cantina before but today decided to try it and I no longer miss Mamma Mi so much now that I know there's a lovely Italian cafe in Hastings Old Town. I went alone and kept it simple, I had pasta in tomato sauce and followed it up with a slice of ricotta cake. The pomodoro sauce was so delicious and pasta cooked perfectly. The cake was so lovely and light. The man who served me, I presume to be the owner, he was very nice. The cafe itself is beautiful and I got an unpretentious vibe from the place.
