The fried seafood arrived cold. We told the girl, she took it and brought it back reheated. The normal pasta dish. We had to ask for ice on several occasions. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30

Don't know why this place has so low ratings. The seafood soup was absolutely delicious. A lot of people don't like anchovies, but if you do, try their anchovies in lemon sauce, it's like Italian anchovies seviche! Avoid at all cost. I’m not one for negative reviews, but I’ll do this in service to future visitors to Monterosso. This was the worst* meal we’ve had in Italy in 13 years and dozens of trips. Literally just go to the train station and have the mixed seafood, or anything else. Management/ownership is clearly uncaring and, frankly, lazy. I don’t blame the server for this, but from a diner’s perspective the servers were doing far less than the bare minimum. Just dropping each plate at the end of the table for diners to distribute themselves (for a 4 top) is evidence of this. *The lemon anchovy antipasti was absolutely fine. The pesto trophie was well prepared but absolutely flavorless we never...
