Perfect place for coffee and cake on a drizzly day. Friendly service and good English to help us understand each cake. They were delicious.

We went to the Krauterer am Dom with a group of business colleagues and enjoyed the diner very much. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the evening, the beers and the food a lot.

Although most of regensburg is for tourist, there were actually some locals here. the atmosphere is good, the service fast and our lunch was pleasant if not excellent. we were here with a group and all got a set menu. gnocchi so, dessert better.

Had 2 meals here on my recent visit to Regensburg and it won't be my last. The beef goulash was so good, I came back days later with my family in tow to try the Schnitzel. All was wonderful! Of particular note: the elderflower juice...vinaigrette and the pumpkin soup. Friendly service too!

On a sunny day, sitting beneath the sun umbrella, and sipping a beverage at Krauter am Dom is a pleasant way to recharge. The menu has several tasting sounding offerings. Unfortunately, they were out of my first choice, so I opted for the schnitzel. It was made well. My friend's salad was lovely with a unique pan fried fish cake (tasty with a strong fish taste).

I was in the cathedrale and saw the restaurant over the street and it looked out, but I decided to try it. the outside was full, but I went in. the girls helped me load my phone after a morning of the pictures. nina was. my waitress and she was very friendly and efficient. I have the nudes with speck. the sauce on the 2 mounds was a cream sauce with chanterelles and it was wonderful. I loved it. nina recommends a dessert of white cake with a layer of chocolate in the middle and on the top a light layer of cherry, a layer of picked cream and another layer of chocolate. I was in heaven. the coffee with cream was perfect.

We stopped by Krauterer for a late breakfast and were immediately turned off by the unfriendly and unprofessional waitress. We were three, but she evidently thought that one menu was sufficient for all of us. When we asked for two more menus, she made a...face. Upon handing us the additional menus, she immediately asked what we wanted to drink. We told her to come back in a minute or two since we had just received the extra menus. She made a face again and left. After that we were served a male waiter. Overall, the food was fine, but nothing memorable or out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, the unprofessional service clouded our entire breakfast. The only plus is the excellent location right...

We stopped here while on our Viking River Cruise. We wanted to enjoy a coffee and rest a bit. Also you can use the lavatory without charge as opposed to the pay public conveniences in the city. We ordered a Cappuccino and a Latte Macchiato...with an Apple strudel. We made the rookie mistake of asking for water, which they brought and charged 2.50 euros $3.05), a waste of money. But the coffee and the strudel was excellent because it also came with ice cream. Delicious. Far better than the strudel we had on the Viking River Cruise boat. The service was very nice and timely. We enjoyed ourselves with fellow travelers from the Viking cruise. The whole place looked like a coffee house you would...
